Starting A New Shift
1. Roll for Weather
Roll a D6. On a 1, the weather changes one step toward rain. On a 6, the weather changes one step toward fair.
2. Resolve PC Tasks
Have each PC resolve a task for the shift.
3. Draw an Encounter Card
4. Draw an Encounter Motivation Card
5. Draw an Encounter Nature Card
5. Rumors
Roll a D10 to determine what rumors if any can be learned at the encounter.
4. Recon the Encounter
If encountered is triggered, have the PC on lookout roll RECON to see if they have option to avoid it or sneak up to it.
5. Adjudicate the encounter
6. Proceed to next shift.
PLOT POINTSAny time two or more cards with the same card value for an encounter are drawn, a plot point is created. Whenever another pair is drawn for a different encounter, those two encounters are related.
