Declan takes note of the camera in the corner. "Security everywhere.", he thinks.

"Sure I can spare a whole week he says to the man.", then he goes for a hand shake. As he does he leans in close and whispers, "We've got eyes on us. In the corner over there. One of your cameras?"

Well, looks like we may have found a candidate for a little interrogation, eh? Abi nudged Corvin, pointing at the man wearing the hat.

I wonder what those wafers do. Maybe before we track down Mr Hardhat we ought to go look at the panel Dr Wu seemed concerned about.

"Distract him, I will need to get behind hin to restrain him." After taking video of the sabotage, combined with his standing as honorary law enforcement Corvin saw a opportunity to get a break in the case and he intended to take it. He offered his tablet to Abi, there was a look in his eyes that implied a level of trust and discretion. "Make sure to record the arrest, I don't want any hitches if we turn him over to the authorities." The journalist left the alternative silent, very loudly not emphasizing the "if" in his plan.

Corvin grabbed a handful of discarded jumpers and fashioned a crude set of manacles out of them and leftover couplings in the corridor. He knew even he would have a hard time breaking out of the plastic and copper bindings if he secured them correctly. Then he slipped around the corner quickly. Making to ambush the person in the hardhat.

He waited for Abi to get the guys attention before stepping uo behind and throwing a chokehold, kicking at the back of the mans knees to throw him off balance, trying to crush him off balance into the deckplates.

Ahh, Abi replied with a wink to show he understood before sprinting off into the opposite direction from Corvin in an attempt to head-off the man in the hard hat.

He slowed down once he got closer so as to appear nonchalant, looking down at the data pad as if searching for information. Abi looked up as he drew nearer to the man.

Hey there friend! I’m glad I found someone. I’m new here and seem to have gotten myself a little turned around. I don’t suppose you could point me in the right direction could you? He held the data pad to his chest so that the camera was facing outward and gestured to it in suggestion that he was looking at a map.

Declan:

"That, camera? That's the local security camera. I doubt that we have to be worried about that too much, if I don't hang around for long too."
Abdullah and Corvin:

The man in the hard hat looks nervous then annoyed as he sees he is distracted by a colleague looking for directions. As he get closer and studies what Abdullah may be asking for, Corvin manages to ambush the man with his restraining assault.

In time, the man finds himself on his knees and his wrists wrapped tight in cables. Despite being surprised and in a panic, he doesn't scream out. Instead, he hissed.

"Who the hell are you guys? Listen, there is no need to hurt me, or bring me to the authorities. We can work out a deal. I can give you anything you want in mind as long as you let me go free."

OOC:
There will be an event for week 5. Took long enough, but this was to allow you guys some opportunity for extra earnings and investigation.

I'll first have Corvin decide if he wants to try the man's offer or just haul him off to prison.

Then let's become scarce. I'll do the job.", Dylan says turning his face away from the camera. He walks briskly away from the man.

@jomsviking
Shall I assume that you simply ignore the man and bring him to security HQ?
Week 5 Event

Everyone receives a message on whatever communication device they are using. It is from Samatha, your quest giver.

"Hello team members of Abdullah's security detail. I have discovered something that you guys might want to see. It is something an anonymous colleague have found, and I feel that it is best for you to see for yourselves personally instead of communicating this way. Gather in my office when you can."
OOC:
You can RP before this scene happens.
Over in the office, when everyone have finally arrived and greetings made, Ms O'reilly unlocks a drawer and pulls out what looks to be a printed letter:

To whoever that may read this:

I would like to first preface this that this isn't a joke. But what is a joke is your nation's failure to manage your interactions with the aliens. What you have been doing have been ignorance bordering on malice. As a member of The Union, it gives me joy to see how you technophiles stumble over yourselves in your effort to manage the threat you have brought upon yourselves.

I am not happy that humanity is in danger. No, I am deeply upset on that problem. But what I am happy about is that when you finally collapse, The Union will take its rightful place as the true authorities of planet Darst. If only that could happen sooner, then this disaster could be avoided.

Sincerely, a patriot amidst fools and traitors.

After having everyone take a look through, Samantha speaks.
"I am going to cut to the chase. It appears that we have a spy from The Union trying to threaten us. I am personally not very loyal to The United Advancement to tell you stop this spy for the sake of our nation, but when a third party thinks that they could involve themselves in an already troubling matter such as aliens and their cultists, that could cause unexpected chaos.

I want you to find out who typed this letter and figure out what their business is. I don't care how you go about doing this, just be careful not to get yourselves and me into trouble. And if you succeed in this task, I'll give you each a reward. 2000 Credits each for investigating this spy and not causing alarm."

Wolf snorts upon reading the letter, before stepping back and leaning lazily against the wall. "Sounds like the usual pseudo-patriotic drivel to justify inaction, and also clearly a bait. No actual threats or demands, just flexing their knowledge? They either have an enormous ego, or want the authorities to investigate them. I would suggest you outwardly ignore it, so they have no choice but to do something else and reveal themselves further." He shrugs. "Although we can certainly sleuth around in the meantime. Where did this anonymous colleague of yours find this letter?"

Declan slides into the office with and with a cocked eyebrow "Sounds like someone is having a bad year or decade.".

He leans against the wall waiting for Samantha's answer to Wolf's question.

"I agree, sounds more like a disgruntled employee than a spy."

Corvin it seemed was quite well versed in tradecraft, ever the silent witness, the quiet observer. It didn't quite fit for a man as large as him to be so deft at it. But with his most recent foray into the ventilation ducts and his arrest of the saboteur, all with Abi's help, there was no denying why he had managed so well still stirring the hornet's nest was bound to have consequences.
