Marching Order

Smiles Lanhkmer that is a turn per 10' space I believe. Just someone not in the front roll to carry. Shouldn't be a problem unless we run into trouble on the way back. previous marching order updated.

As of our last update, a bit over a month ago, we Hellions had the following marching order:
But now that we've lost Swan and Lanhkmer and gained Sister Jessica and Pickles, what order do we want?

Pickles is more of a ranged fighter, but with his advantages with hiding happy for him to be near the front.

Jessica can fight pretty well, and doesn't have spells (yet).

Fenwick is willing to take front row if necessary but she'd prefer to stay in the middle with her spear/ occasional spell. Her middling HP/AC combo will probably not leave her front row for long. :)

So maybe Jessica and Ricard front row?

I was holding the light source, but I can hand that off to someone closer to the front.

We're walking two abreast, so it would be:

Front: Gabbro, Ricard
Middle: Jessica, Fenwick
Back: Pickles, Tiberious

That works for me as long as both Ricard and Gabbro have spears or poles so they can probe the ground ahead of them. Pretty much any formation should have the people in front with spears or poles. Gabbro had borrowed a spear, but gave it back. We know there are pits on both levels that we've seen - the first level where we are now, and the second level where our clues suggest some treasure may be - because we've fallen into them twice. Whoever is in front needs to be testing the floor for traps, or we'll certainly fall in again and again.

I'm good with the order and Ricard has his spear out.

Straight swap works

Since Fenwick's out of spells and Gabbro's a little nicked up, I'm proposing they swap as we enter the next room

Front: Fenwick, Ricard
Middle: Jessica, Gabbro
Back: Pickles, Luther

Will one in the middle take the lantern?

No, no: Gabbro will take the lantern, as he does not use a shield. Will Fenwick take back her spear, then?

Edit: OK, I see that Fenwick has generously offered to let Gabbro continue using her spear.
