"Indestructible
On this rock, I lie
But I'm alive for good and
I just free myself now from all what was wrong
Break the unbreakable
All the stars fearlessly bright
They call me out there
Order me to face the wind
My structure's alive, body's on the way
Don't bow down
Before the walls of fear and madness
They try to counter me
And strike me down the ground again
Inexhaustible
The strength of fire is running through me
Spine-like beam of light
What mortal could ever break this force?
Unconstrained
I see, at last, my backbone straighten
Thy serpent made of bones
Finally rise up from the ground, awake
Beat your feet on the ground now, go!"

The interface left you with more questions than answers. It answered little in the way of why or what it did. But it indicated to you both the Planet Saturn, its sattelite Titan where through repeated dreams in the construct had pointed to it in various symbols of that Paradise-like garden world.

What registered as months to your subconscious mind was mere hours to the waking world. While your body was unconscious in the Interface a rescue had been mounted. The frame of The Monitor as well as the commander were recovered. This translated to you shared experience as the reptilian servitors of the Paradise carrying your bodies midsleep to a temple deep in the heart of the volcano which ruled over the garden. Wherein the commander was centered upon an enormous brass plate which hung by enormous chains over the mouth of the dying caldera. The skeleton of an enormous snake coiled around him - the commander entranced stared skyward chanting continuously.

Months on the Paradise were hard, but fulfilling, meat was provided by the servitors and fruit grew in abundance. But the struggle endued you with a greater sense of purpose. Life in the paradise was seeming more alive than life. Attempts to venture to the plate where the Commander chanted were met with gentle pressure, which interrupted any attempt to approach. This cycle continued until the day the sky opened.

An orange light pulled you through a yawning portal in the sky. Waking simultaneously in the soft blue light of the medical bay.

The Captain's voice, direct and harsh. Full of concern greeted your ears. "...don't give a damn about the consequences they are the only fireteam we have left. Wake them up!"

Consciousness leaves Badger and he wakes to a cold harsh light into a new...no wait...wake up!

"What? Hey? What? Where?" Badger yells in a barely audible cracked voice.

He opens his eyes but they do not focus, he just sees blotches of colors as reality breaks through and his ego reasserts itself.
