I've just noticed WotC published a book that continue LMoP story with events for players LVL 5+
Although knowledge of LMoP is technically not a prerequisite to play new book starting chapter 5,
It is still the nostalgia of the LMoP and Phandelver's NPCs/environment that triggered my interest. Anyone esle?

P.S. I would certainly prefer player role, but could try to DM as well.

Mines are always interesting. I never come close to completing.

Are you saying you'd rather start in Chapter 5, or start from the beginning, since there are some small but significant differences between the book and the Starter Set adventure?

I've been on the lookout for a game of D&D 5e.

I am personally only interested in chapters starting 5. I've DMed it LMoP a few times and not interested telling that story yet again. And I am interested to find players with also have experienced LMoP, at least first two chapters of it.

I'm not your player. I really don't know any of it. Do good.

OK, seems like I have wrong expectation about how much people experienced LMoP. That's a pity - it is a great adventure indeed. Perhaps I could DM second chapter of it here on PG, not promising yet

It's certainly solid, I agree. I think the issue is that a lot of people don't actually run modules. Just going by personal experience and observation, but I feel like the lion's share of D&D games are wholly based on DM storylines.

I am interested but I have started LMoP 3 times on this site and never completed as we lost players on one but the dm the other times. I think that maybe true with more than just me as I have seen offers of it a few times since I tried to play it.
So I think there is interest but a caution and people having only bits of the story to feel unsure of jumping ahead since they only have partial knowledge of the original adventure.
