Team Chalice Character Generation
I will honor any rolls made in the global Player Character thread.
To Kuroi, since you submitted it first, i'd figure i'd ask before just going through with it. I made a bard when I applied to the game, so i'll leave it up to you if I use him or not. Don't feel bad about saying no either, I wont hold any hard feeling against you.
To CancerMan, is there any backstory with the characters? Do they all already know each other or will the story begin with us meeting?
You are all part of the team so you would have met each other previously. Feel free to come up with a backstory for why you joined the Pale in the fight against Caer Tan, as well as any connection or bonds with other players.
If I roll now will I be forced into using those stats, depending on the answer? Also, are custom backgrounds allowed (PHB. 126/7)?
You can customize your background using the material in the PHB.
Rolls
Please be kind. - (2d4+10, 2d4+10, 2d4+10, 2d4+10, 2d4+10, 2d4+10)
2d4+10 : (44) + 10 = 18
2d4+10 : (33) + 10 = 16
2d4+10 : (33) + 10 = 16
2d4+10 : (34) + 10 = 17
2d4+10 : (41) + 10 = 15
2d4+10 : (14) + 10 = 15
And if we considered a multi-class option once you reach the cap, it feels similar to allowing someone to gain levels after 20.
I could also consider that once you reach the cap, that's it. But that's no fun.
I think the simplest solution would be to disallow these specific classes or any others that have no level progression up to 20.
Also would it be possible to combine my flute and dagger, to have some sort of flute with a sharp point at the end? It adds a little to the backstory so it isn't just a regular flute, up to you though.
As for the pointy flute, that's fine. It will have the same stats as a dagger.

Well, poop. Haven't rolled an 18 at first level since I fudged rolls in 4th grade.
