You hear the ominous sounds of the rolling of dice behind the DM's screen ...

In the far reaches of his slowly unwinding mind Pickles hears the rolling of dice and tingles crawl along his spine . . .

Ruined Chapel / Sanctuary of Chthonia
It’s strenuous work, but you complete the task of moving half of the kobold’s goods (12 weeks’ rations and 3 casks of wine) down into the Sanctuary. You stack them neatly next to Jessica’s body.

Up in the Ruined Chapel, you rearrange the remaining goods so that they fit on a single litter.

Luther’s torch expires whilst doing this, and you're forced to light another. Whoever is the keeper-of-the-torches, please cross off another torch from your inventory.

"Yeah, I think that using one of the storage rooms is a good idea. Let's go." Gabbro starts, helping drag/carry the litter out from the burned chapel and south in the hallway outside.

Luther will help Gabbro drag the litter "If we leave it in the storage room I think it will be good without a guard. We beat feet right to the Korners and let the Beggars know where it is.

Pickles nods his agreement and helps as much as he can with the litter.

Ricard also lends his back to the task.

"Suits me, just glad to have the decision made."

Referring to Gabbro's map, there are four old storage rooms along the southern edge of your mapped area. Which one are you aiming for? For convenience, let's number them 1-4 from left to right?

I'll assume you plan to take the most direct route, (i.e. south from the Ruined Chapel to the Audience Chamber, and then east or west depending on which store you select).

Luther will look at the others "How about the one where we found the key? It didn't look like anyone had been in there in a long time."

"Works for me" answers Ricard

Sweat building already on the little guy Pickles simple says, "I just want the closest one."

With the remaining litter in tow, you depart the Ruined Chapel with the intention of heading to the westernmost of the small storage rooms, the one where you found the rusty key.

However, just as you’re turning to head south towards the Audience Chamber, you notice movement in the opposite direction, away to the north. A figure moves quickly but stealthily across the northern T-intersection, from east to west, without acknowledging you. From the flash of yellow and black on her head scarf, it’s clear she’s a Ghost Beggar.

Ricard hails the Beggar who thinks she's sneaky,

"Oh, Ghost Beggar! Just who we were looking for! We took care of the goblins and won us all a prize!"

Gabbro runs after her, hoping to see which way she's gone: either to the door up the north passage (a mystery to us) or trying to lift the portcullis...

Watching Gabbro dash off Luther will ask"Do you think she was a tail sent to watch us?" Luther will stay back to watch the supplies in case this is a trick.

Seeing Gabbro run after the woman, Ricard drops his side of the litter and follows at top speed...

Happy not to be pushing the litter anymore Pickles quickly turns and chases after Gabbro, calling out as he goes. "Excuse Lady Beggar, Excuse us. We require your assistance please." As he runs his bow mysteriously appears in his hands.
