She's had more things in her face in the past few days than she ever did in the decade prior. She's definitely getting old. She sighs and draws another arrow, letting it hoose at point-blank range.
OOC:
flex ranged atk vs t6. I'll risk the AO from that other one if he's on me and not on Hrafe. No useful triggers.

Troglodyte

The trogs seem to be flailing, trying to club you each in the head in order to turn you into their next meals. They hiss, "Pale one above send you! You next meal!"
OOC:
Makasi and Hrafe take 8 damage each.
I believe Hrafe and Ylliane are still subject to the stench. Hard to keep track. I still have that as the truth on my tracker. If you don't roll the d20-3, i'll assume you didn't make the save. Ylliane rolled a 13 earlier but that didn't include the -3 so it was a 10.

Rolls

Troglodyte 3 Club vs. Edgar AC 15 - 8 damage - (1d20+6)

(3) + 6 = 9

Troglodyte 4 Club vs. Makasi AC 21 - 8 damage - (1d20+6)

(16) + 6 = 22

Troglodyte 5 Club vs. Hrafe AC 14 (17-3) - 8 damage - (1d20+6)

(9) + 6 = 15

Troglodyte 6 Club vs. Ylliane AC 18 (21-3) - 8 damage - (1d20+6)

(2) + 6 = 8

OOC:
I used it for Ylliane, but not the ranged penalty since she's engaged with one now.

OOC:
Hrafe made the save

OOC:
Updated to remove Hrafe from list.

Edgar steps to the side, ignoring the trog right next to him and instead slashes at the one next to Makasi.

Targeting T4 with a sure cut.

Makasi grins as Edgar's dagger finds the Trog attacking her. "These things don't stop coming, do they?" She asks her companion, sparing a moment to touch his shoulder. She then thrusts her halberd into the creature and attempts to finish it off.
OOC:
If Edgar is still low in HP, I'll use my second Lay on Hands here to give him a free recovery. If not, @Furmyr, let me know, and I'll save it.

Rolls

Melee - (1d20+5+4)

(9) + 9 = 18

Damage - (2d10+3)

(46) + 3 = 13

Aug 21, 2024 2:05 pm
Makasi manages to finish off T4 with a blow that almost missed by managed to find the creature's shoulder and then angle intward for a lethal blow.
Aug 21, 2024 9:28 pm
Hrafe pushed the limits of his severely injured body, seemingly inured to the pain of it, or perhaps even more frenetic because of it. "I am your death!" He roared focusing another furious blow at the injured troglodyte.

Rolls

Melee Attack - Total - (2d20h1+10)

(117) + 10 = 27

Melee Damage - Total - (2d10+4)

(18) + 4 = 13

Aug 22, 2024 3:51 am
The blow staggers the trog.

OOC:
I am still hurting, so I'll take the lay on hand. Was going to drink my last potion next round. But can save that for a rainy day.

Rolls

2d8+0 - (2d8+0)

(87) = 15

Aug 22, 2024 1:20 pm
Ylliane sidesteps the blow with a vague look of boredom on her face. "'See the world', they said. 'Experience everything it has to offer', they said. They never said the experience they were talking about was just nasty smells and the creatures who make them." She draws another arrow back and fires it point-blank into the side of the trog who's just missed her.
OOC:
Made save last post. Went back and edited it after you reminded me. Might not have been the best way to do that.

Attack t6 with flex, no triggers. 10 damage.

Troglodyte

The trogs continue their attacks. They seem desperate for lots of meat, and based on how you've seen this location you get the sense that they don't have anywhere to go except here so thay may explain why they don't consider running away to live another day.
OOC:
Edgar and Ylliane each take 8 damage

Edgar stabs the trog next to him and tries to jump out of reach to engage the two other trogs.
OOC:
Will attack the one next to me, and disengage to be next to the two other trogs so I am in position to get sneak attack next round.
[ +- ] Tumbling Strike

Rolls

Melee Attack - Total - (1d20+11)

(11) + 11 = 22

Abandon Dagger - Total - (2d8+5)

(27) + 5 = 14

Disengage - (1d20+5)

(4) + 5 = 9

Aug 22, 2024 7:19 pm
Edgar's blade lands, but the trog grab's his arm long enough to keep him from running away.
OOC:
I believe edgar can attempt another disengage check, which I think also gets the +5 based on the text of the at will ability saying "all attempts this turn", as a move action. Though I am not sure. I think the quick action disengage is part of a specific line of "move, attack, quick action". Since you didn't move to engage first, I don't know if you can actually take the quick action to disengage (as it seem to read like a list of things you must all do), in which case your disengage check was your move action and thus that already failed. Not sure. What do you think everyone?

In the meantime, @SavageBob,@Jomsviking,@Falconloft you are all up.

OOC:
Sorry, beyond my pay grade!
Makasi swings her halberd down, hacking at the arm of the Troglodyte trying to grab Edgar. "Hands off!"

I'm fine with being stuck for now.

OOC:
I'm only answering because you asked; I don't want to be that guy...

I believe the part of the text that says, "You can also move to engage an enemy, make this attack against it, and then use a quick action to attempt to disengage from it (the quick action disengage lets you move again if you succeed)," is giving an example of use. Normally without this ability, you'd only be able to make one disengage check a round, so if you disengaged from A and attacked B, you'd be done.

With this power, it's saying that if you disengaged from enemy A, ran to B, and attacked, you'd be able to use your quick action to disengage from B.

Ylliance grimaces as the club impacts her shoulder. At least she'd managed to turn at the last second, making the blow roll off of her. That strong of a swing could take a head off even without a blade.

As she pivots, she keeps her left foot planted, so that even as she's turning, she's got the balance to bring her bow back up. She fires, once, then again, straight ahead to the spot that the trog should be in.
OOC:
Attacking T6, flex attack. Rolls assuming eDie is 4, I can't quite find it.

Natural 19 triggers second shot. SS goes at the same one, or at T5 if 46 dies from the first shot.
