Edgar sees the fleeing derro and tries to teleport in front of him if possible. "Where do you think you're going?" he says, as he tries to stab the fleeing derro in the side. "Can't have you warn the rest."

Makasi tries to secure the bomb from falling over while the others chase the fleeing Derro.

The larger derro roars in pain as the axe bites into him, and the runes along his arms fade from purple to red, but he's not about to back down. He takes a step back and drops into a defensive posture as his would slowly closes. It looks is if he's going to try to get back next to his thief unless he's stopped.

@SavageBob -- The bomb is still being fiddled with by the one derro that doesn't seem to be carrying a weapon. Of course, that doesn't mean it's not dangerous, but you certainly won't have a weapon drawn on you. You can try to intimidate him into leaving, or go ahead and swing and hope you don't smack the bomb too hard if you miss.

Makasi grabs a hold of the tinkering derro and attempts to yank him away from the bomb.

Not sure what this is. ST check? I forget what the Escalation Die is at, so add that.

Hrafe didn't care what the Derro was suffering, it had hurt him, he was only intent on killing it now. Blood gushed from his own wound and he needed to bind it before his lifeblood emptied. He brought the axe up cleaving into the derro with a ferocious roar of frustration.

"You must die already!"

It would basically justy be a stunt. roll a straight d20. 6+ you can do what you like with him. Then, at the end of the round, roll a save to keep up the grapple.

Sorry for not posting the eDie, I usually do at the beginning of each round, but I don't see that I did. Let's say it's +4. I think that's right.
While Makasi drags the non-combatant away, Edgar and Hrafe surround the last fighter. But he's not going down easily. He leaps back away from Hrafe, so the attack leaves just a nick. Hrafe's previous wound continues to bleed him. That leap though, takes him directly into Edgar's path, and his dagger sinks into his foe, and he lets out a roar of pain and... is that irritation? That attack certainly didn't hurt him as much as it should have...

The berserker swings his axe behind him, aiming blindly for the person he knows must be there. He feels, rather than sees, it strike home.

5 more ongoing to Hrafe.
8 damage and 5 ongoing to Edgar. That takes him to 0 if I'm not mistaken. While he's down, if @Furmyr can give us a tale of a combat in Edgar's past that could inspire the others, then he can give them a bonus.
Makasi can stunt again (6+, no modifiers) to knock that thief out as a move action, but she's going to need to look to Edgar soon.

Yup, that'll do it barely. I'd survive the 8, but the ongoing will take me down.
Edgar falls down with a thud, thinking back to his youth. The first time he fought in a dwarven cave. Back before he was an elf, or even assassin, he was but a teenager traveling with his father and their merchant caravan. They were bringing ore to the surface to trade, when goblins attacked. One of the guards stepped in front of Edgar to protect him, and got an dagger in the gut from a crafty goblin. Then the goblin advanced on Edgar. Panicking, Edgar picked up the guard's axe and struck wildly. He had never touched an axe before, but this day the gods favored him, and his axe stuck in the goblin's head.

Looking around, Edgar could see his father and the rest of the guards driving back the other goblins. "Well struck Edgar," one of the guards said to him. "With a little training you could be a guard if you ever tire of a merchant's life."

"Edgar!"

Hrafe snarled in dismay as his brother fell to the derro's blow. "NO! NO!" He hoisted Glaezentorg and brought it down falling as much as flailing furiously into the blow. "NITHING UPON YOUR BLOOD!"

Makasi brings the butt of her halberd down on the derro's head, trying to knock it out. She then turns toward Edgar and shouts, "Hold tight. I'm coming to help!"

No Escalation die for the knockout attempt? Not sure of action economy here either. Doing the knockout as Falconloft suggested, but can I move to heal Edgar, too? If not, I may do Invocation of Life instead.

@SavageBob - No eDie, but you have the KO attempt as Standard, the move to Edgar, and then LOH as a Quick if you want to do that. It'll all fit. Up to you. Actually. That was a nice hit.

With one final blow of desperation fueled by his concern for his companion, Hrafe brings the last derro down. Makasi lands a blow on the smaller derro, rendering him senseless for a while and then moves to Edgar's side. He's unconscious, but there's a spark of life in him yet. That's better than can be said for most of the derro. Those at the gate are retreating now, leaving behind their fallen allies.

The battlefield belongs to the dwarves, and there's a rascous cheer that goes up as Makasi and Hrafe look to Edgar.

Take a moment to heal if you want to. Roll as many recoveries as you like. If you are below half health, you are required to heal up to at least half health, even if you don't have enough recoveries.

Hrafe makes damn sure the Berserker is dead, taking its head from its shoulders and kicking it at the routing derro. He sits next to Edgar and tries to bind his wounds as he watches his "brother" in silent worry.

Makasi places her hands on Edgar. "Relax. You took a lot of pain from those things." She channels the power of her ancestors through her hands and helps restore some of the man's life-force.
