There is handout reference sheet now.
Would you add the following to the orb name
[_=5/7]
it will give us (me) check boxes to mark charges on

That's fair; two dawns have passed, so you can correctly assume that it has full charges now. The handout's been updated.

Apologies, it looks like the trip will actually affect my posts. Didn’t realize how tired I’d be each day. Will post when I can, but please feel free to run Morik.

I hope it's a good trip, despite it being so taxing.

Eyes says:
Until someone gets the flag and is trying to come back however long that takes. my iidea is that that will utilize my action from the previous round and allow me full movement and actions on my next turn

Readying an action allows you to perform a triggered action later in the same round.
(Emphasis mine.)

Hmm.

So what you're saying is whoever goes last in the round want to hold their action until the person that goes first in the round does something, too bad so sad go fk yerself, that's a different round.

I disagree, My opinion is it's still the same round until my next turn.

I get one turn in round 1, round one continues for me until my turn is round 2 then it's round 2 for me until it's my turn in round 3.
saying that round 1 starts with whoever acts first and ends with the last person, take away the ability for the last person to act.

a combat round is equivalent to 6 seconds = so that means I get one turn every 6 seconds. my first action starts the clock for me at 0 seconds. so I should have 5.99999999999999999999999999999999999~ seconds to hold my action.

Correct.

Well, ultimately it comes down to how our DM rules.

That said, RAW doesn't support your opinion. If it worked the way you're suggesting, it would say you could use your reaction any time before the beginning of your next turn. However, it says "later in the round." 🤷‍♂️

(Also worth noting, a turn and a round are not the same. It's why rogues can proc sneak attack on AoOs if they meet the requirements.)

Thank you for drilling down on this one. I'm going to amend what I said earlier.
To clarify:
Ready is an Action you can take on your turn. If you do, you specify a single action your character will take when a specific trigger happens.
When the trigger happens, your character uses their reaction to perform the Readied action.
The Ready action lasts until the start of your next turn.

That means that it can wrap around from one round to the next, but the 5e rules are explicit in every mention of the Ready action that it does not last multiple rounds. So you can Ready an action, and if the trigger happens that round, your PC can take that action. If the trigger happens next round but before your turn next round, your PC can take that action. But if the trigger does not occur before your next turn OR your character uses your reaction for something else, the Readied action does not happen.

Okay so to clarify on my end, every time it's woody's turn, he holds his action. Waiting for anyone to grab the flag. Then he'll use giant's might and take his turn as normal when it's his turn.

Great; thanks for the confirmation.
