The plan sounds good to me.

I'm agreeable to that- I think knowing what we all know about the franchise we all pretty much are expecting to be killed? I guess it depends on how long you as a GM want to run the game?

Ah, good, glad we sound like we are on the same kinda page about this. And I've leaned this is a topic that it can be good just to double check on :)

I'm trying this out as a short "cinematic" scenario to see how it runs in my hands here on PbP. I LOVE Alien and Aliens and some of the novels (particularly Into Chrybdis and The Cold Forge) so if this runs OK and there is interest I'd look to start up a totally different scenario shaped by what people would find most exciting.

I agree that it makes sense we will likely be killed. However, the universe is pretty damn big, and WT has a transport shuttle prepped for departure. While it doesn't come up in any of the canon material, it's not entirely impossible one or more people from LV-426 got away and went into hiding, or appear as nuts telling stories about things in the dark over a beer at a half-forgotten outpost somewhere.

Especially if it becomes known WT might want to keep those stories quiet, survivors might be a bit paranoid.

Just some thoughts, but either way it will be exciting to see where this all leads!
