Hmmm... I don't believe I was in that one. As far as I know we haven't played anything together. But it wouldn't be the first time my memory fails me. Hehe.
There's actually been a bunch of times where I've seen you apply for a game that I was very interested in but had no spare time for. Like Goons & Ghosts recently, I almost signed up for :D

Our new guy has got his feet wet in the other tables I’m running of Yazeba’s B&B, so I invited them to join us in this more developed cozy inn. :)

Here is our tracking spreadsheet. You’ll see most of the residents are on the second stage of their journeys. The Moon Prince landed a while back. Gertrude sold her heart to Monday in a previous chapter so she currently has the Heartless Contract. Monday has absconded with it and left the B&B, and Mr. Boggs completed his journey and departed as well. But you’ll see several other guests have been unlocked here.

You don’t need to worry too much about established "canon" just yet. When we choose our next chapter, I’ll fill you in on what you need to know for the characters involved. But let me know if you have any other questions.

Sounds good. Yeah, I see many unlocks. Very cool to see so many new guests! I have to admit, I've already zoomed through the rulebook and stopped to read some of the ones that seemed interesting, but I also try not to spoil it too much for myself :)

For the upcoming chapter I probably won't weigh in on which one we're going for so I can settle in before going into any decision making.

Also... How do you manage to keep the state of the characters in the 3 different B&B games separated in your head? I hope I'm not going to start making callbacks to things that happened at a different table.

Years of practice running multiple tables of different games. :D

If nobody else has a preference for the next chapter, I’d suggest an eerie one since we haven’t played an eerie chapter in a while (since Halloween)! The Witch’s Missing Shadow or The Longest Night of the Year are straightforward ones. We could spend the Mementos to unlock and play Lost in the Cornmaze or Our Little Island, which are "weird" chapters that use the rules in unusual ways. Another weird chapter is The Tomtom Hunt which we get by spending three Mementos to unlock the Pantry shelf. That one is fun too and would also allow us to start filling the other Nooks on that shelf. Let me know which, if any of these, you would like to play!

I had been looking at The Witch's Missing Shadow and The Longest night too!

But I think TomTom Hunt is my first choice since it unlocks more Nooks to fill in. However, I'm happy with whatever.

Here's the details for The Tomtom Hunt to help the decision. If we choose this one, I'll play the Tomtom since there's lots of card manipulation involved.

@TheGenerator - oh, that’s where I’ve seen you in threads. The player I was thinking of had a G-name. (TheGameMaster… I recall thinking that was the GM’s alias, at first glance.)

@Dmbrainiac - if we’re a tick short, I’ll use that as an excuse to dump another coin on Amelie.

Alright, I'll get a final count of coins on Monday morning and deal with Housekeeping then. If we want to play the Tomtom Hunt, we'll need Amelie, Parish, and any other character.

Okay, at the end of that chapter, Amelie has 3 tokens, Gertrude has 1 token, and Sal has 3 tokens. Demi and Percy end with 0 tokens each, but I'll give them both 1 token as a participation prize.

I've applied Gertrude's leftover to her journey, and Sal's to the assorted track to get more mementos. @Legendary_Sidekick Amelie completes their journey! We get a Candle (Square Memento), Amelie choose a Pyromancer Bingo or Whoopsie to permanently add to their character sheet, ANd they change on of their other Bingos or Whoopsies to reflect the journey (this still can be done for the Shutterbug journey as well). Then, pick a new Spare journey to start!

As discussed, we are using 3 Square Mementos to unlock The Tomtom Hunt and the rest of the Pantry shelf. We have 3 Circle Mementos remaining. Once everybody chooses their characters, we can begin the next chapter.

I'll go with Parish for this chapter!

I was thinking either Amelie or Yazeba.

I've never played Yazeba before so that might be fun. Is it correct that she's at the end of her progress track? Causing the very very bad tempered Yazeba to come out?

The Tomtom is on her list of enemies.

Yes, that's correct. If you play as Yazeba, you should make sure she is very mean and lash out a lot. She'll progress to the next stage of her journey after this chapter.

I think I’ll have Amelie borrow Wren’s plane now!
