Oh wow… after this old video I played for students yesterday, I know exactly what Amelie would say to Gert about having a heart.

Okay, the thread is up. Somebody will need to play Gertrude, but everybody else can play anyone of their choosing (except Yazeba, who is sulking in her office). Anybody who isn’t Gertrude should choose a Hearts card as indicated in the Lonely Travelers section.

I'm leaning toward Edmund Wakeman or Moon Prince for this chapter.

I don't mind playing Gertrude, but I'll need a quick recap of what happened to her.

Gonna stick to Amelie and keep progressing X-13.

Basically, Gertrude sold her heart to Monday at a fairy market in order to learn magic more quickly and get her greatest desire (to be loved for who she is without compromise). And Monday stated the deal would take away her fears and help her grow without boundaries.

@Legendary_Sidekick and I have played her since then as an IDGAF teenager. But you could certainly interpret or tweak it however you like.

So she's no longer shy but annoying instead? Hehe.

She is whatever you think "Heartless" Gertrude should be. And yes, it is a fun take on such a lovable character.
