For Pbta Sci-fi games with Ships:

Impulse Drive A fairly standard Pbta game with perhaps a little crunch. It represents ships and vehicles, including the group choosing a playbook for the Ship (Smuggler, Vanguard, Predator, Marauder).

It's aimed at doing games in the style of: Star Trek, Star Wars, Traveller, and Mass Effect

I've never played impulse drive, but I've always wanted to.

Farflung a gonzo, fun, sci-fi game, probably mostly inspired by Farscape, but dialed up to 11.

There's no representation of the ship unless one of the players chooses the Ship playbook.

If you want Groot, Predator, Dr Who and Captain Reynolds on the same ship. Farflung might be for you.

Considering how super-crunchy the third edition is, (and how crunchy 4th edition is in general) the Gurps Spaceship are shocking lite and easily adaptable to almost any other system.

Uncharted Worlds is a PBtA system game system. Your ship is more a set-piece than anything else, but it does have rules for basic ship creation.

Transit: The Spaceship RPG is another PBtA system where your characters are not the crew of a spaceship, they are the spaceship, or more specifically the AI that control the ship at the macro-level who may, or may not, get along with the squishy meat crew inside them.

Bulldogs is a Fate game which makes the GM the captain of a D-Class ship. Think Amazon deliveries in space and you have the start of it.
