Case 2: Withered Old Man

Seth and Ajay help Margaret get to the car. It takes about 15 or 20 minutes to get to the haven.

In the Infirmary, Ajay tended both Seth and Meg, "Wow, you two sure took some heavy injury from our unknown suspect. Meg, you need to take things slow for a while. Your wounds are fresh, and they need sometime to heal properly. So, what did you two find in the crime scene? I have seen the body and from the type of wound he received, it is definitely a wound caused by supernatural magic. From the information I have gathered, I can narrow it down to a few supernatural creatures, but from what I heard about our suspect who can manipulate supernatural phenomena, I think it is probably someone who can control magic. What do you two think? What about this new person whom you interacted? Is he also a magician?"

OOC: Sorry guys, I have been neck deep in workload. I will post slowly for the next week. I might skip a day or two.

Meg looks more upset with herself then with the injures. "I was not injured. I tired some spell I got from one of your books. It was supposed to Heal Seth. It sort of worked but it transferred his wounds to me.."
She sits and rest while they speak. "We didn't learn much from the house. Couldn't get farther into the house. Guard was noisy. " She hands Ajay the business card. "This magic man was dealing with the creature thing. He was able to trap it a magic dome thing. It still got away." Leaning back into the chair. "Maybe he can help?"

Ajay looked both Meg and Seth wondering whether their wounds are properly taken care of before they hit the field again. But, it seemed like the problem of an aggressive supernatural wielder of magic prowling out loose was greater threat. He nodded at them and said, "Maybe we should talk to this wizard of yours. Will you two be alright going out?"

"We should be, thank you Ajay. And thank you for showing up so quickly. We didn't learn much unfortunately, but I agree we need to find the practitioner who helped us out, or that we helped out, that still isn't clear, and ask him what he knows. Margaret, perhaps you could take the lead on that? You two seemed to have...bonded a bit." Seth says, holding his side, as it still ached from the blow he took.

Seth runs a quick background check on Harrison. He doesn't appear to have any criminal record. The background check that normal police runs shows his profession as a librarian, but the one you get from your PESD shows his profession as a sorcerer for hire. He does not appear to be linked to any known cults or shadow organizations.

If you reach out to him and do more than want to just talk, you may need to roll Manipulate Someone. If you do talk to him, depending on who is there might be investigate a mystery or manipulate someone, depending on the desired topic.

OOC: Who has the best Charm? Mine is +1.

Ajay took the card and read the details. "I will give this enigmatic Wizard a call and maybe we can arrange a meeting on the Golden Diner?"

He dialled the number and spoke, "Greetings, Mr. Harrison. My name is Ajay Bisnoi and I would like to recruit your service. I think, given the not-so-natural request of mine, we could maybe discuss this face-to-face. Are you familiar with the Golden Diner restaurant? Maybe we can meet there?"

Seth gives a surprised but approving look to Ajay. He looks at Margaret to see if she is as surprised by Ajay as he is.

Harrison answers. He seems willing to meet but seems to insist on more information before agreeing to meet.

Ajay mentions the encounter of Seth and Meg, elaborating that they are all working together in trying to understand what is going on. He described them as intrepid problem solvers of supernatural problems and that they are aware that the supernatural exist. Ajay however doesn't mention PESD at all.

Harrison agrees to meet. He asks if it will be just you and him, or if Seth and Meg will be there.

Is there anything anyone would want to do before the meeting? As far as I can read, most of the party's conversation has been about Harrison, not much else. Is there anything else the party discusses?

Ajay will tell him that three of them is going.

OOC: The only research that Ajay has done is on the body, which gave the information that it is either a magician, a mummy or a nothic. We haven't done any research in the Infirmary.

OOC: I feel like Ajay will want to talk to this wizard first. He needs a little bit more information before he starts researching them in the Infirmary.
