Regarding holy water.
First and most importantly I don't like how holy water works in 5e in combat. Rules say you "in either case, make a ranged attack against a target creature, treating the holy water as an improvised weapon" and I don't believe anyone of you are proficient with improvised weapons or wouldn't get disadvantage for ranged attack when undead is in 5 feet of you...
Second, even if we assume your PC for whatever reasons carry around 250 silver coins (instead of 10 times as little gold), you would still need tools to convert a coin into a powder.
ToA is is cruelly designed to let you not purchase tools and ingredients you happen to need inside tomb of annihilation. I would like to keep that cruelty.
