Heya. Mostly just saying hey and thanks for having me.

First time playing this, but as you say, is rules light, so that shouldn't be an issue. Still puttering around with the site a bit, but will put a character up soon.

You are very welcome -- do let me know if you have any questions so far. I'm also doing the puttering around thing!

This will be my first game PbP, and I am also DMing a PbP for the first time too separately, so I am hoping I can steal ideas and structure from you!

The adventure thread is up. A couple of reminders:

This is my first time running Lasers & Feelings in PbP, so it may take a couple of scenes until we settle into a solid rhythm, especially as we also have a couple of new players. Thanks for bearing with me. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions or feedback, as both are super welcome.

Games here on GP should be consistent with a PG-13 rating, but if anything begins to make you feel uncomfortable, please let me know as soon as you can and I'll sort it out.

@GameMaster: Would you mind posting as your character going forward, just to avoid any confusion? Here's a guide on how to do this.

It's also usual to denote spoken dialogue in bold and internal thoughts in italic, just for clarity.

Sure thing! And if you forget, you can easily go in and change it by editing the post. I had to do this for the first few posts I made as a player until I got used to it.

Hi @Maxine. I just wanted to check in with you to see whether you are still interested in the game and, if so, whether we can help out with anything? Feel free to ask. A bunch of us are fairly new, too.

Absolutely no worries either way, though -- sometimes things are just not what you might have expected, I know!

Would anyone have an objection to my opening the game up to a new player or two? If so please say, I was just thinking it might be fun for you guys to have more people to bounce off in roleplay.
