Hey all… I’m running an L&F hack and one of my players showed me something cool that will work HERE as well!

Enter THIS table into your character sheet. (I suggest the very top.)

When you roll, click your character name under the Rolls heading to open the table.

Then click the die you want to roll. Example, I’m rolling feelings with an extra die for expertise…

…so I just click the 2d6 under Feelings 2 and the Reason and Roll fields get auto populated.

I think I will update my code to prevent this kind of confusion:

@onceandfuture, if you delete the current code, then click Lasers & Feelings, you’ll get the updated code that labels MISS / # HIT(S).

No need to test. Just looks at the current rolls. They will update as well.

Results SHOULD come out in bold, uncolored all-caps text.

I updated the display text a little to reflect the language used in the L&F rules (just replacing 'hits' with 'sucesses') but that's really helpful. Thank you!

Oh… I will use FAILURE / SUCCESS(ES) in the "official" code, then. My original hack used hit/miss, probably because I was used to PbtA terms.

hey all-I will be travelling this evening and will be away until the 25th (next tuesday), but I should be able to keep things going here. If my response is delayed I may be doing vacationy stuff, but will get to replying as soon as I can.
