OOC:
rule note on two weapon fighting. You have to use your main hand first before you can use your off hand.

So either off hand on vulpin or you would need to attack vulpin then move with an attack of opportunity on you from vulpin. Sorry i didnt catch that is what you meant sooner

OOC:
Oof, my bad. It’ll just have to be main hand on the bandit, and offhand on the vulpin then.

The bandit won’t hve Favored Foe on it, so it’ll be 5 dmg.

I assume a 13 won’t hit the vulpin, but if it does 7 dmg.

Sorry for the confusion! Such a weird/arbitrary DMG rule to not allow a weaker hand to lead an attack.

After weaving out of the line of the vulpins shortsword strike, Sherry pivots on the ball of her claw and ducks left. Dancing around the bandit captain she slashes out in a scissor motion towards the red furred legs of the culprit.
OOC:
I assume, it is my turn? :)

Moving: into flanking position with Leif (or Charun if Leif isn't available atm).
Standard: Attack
Bonus: Attack

Slasher: Once per turn when you hit a creature with an attack that deals slashing damage, you can reduce the speed of the target by 10 feet until the start of your next turn.

Rolls

Attack 1 - (2d20h1+1d4+6, 1d6+4)

2d20h1+1d4+6 : (212) + (4) + 6 = 22

1d6+4 : (4) + 4 = 8

Attack 2 - (2d20h1+1d4+6, 1d6+4)

2d20h1+1d4+6 : (39) + (2) + 6 = 17

1d6+4 : (1) + 4 = 5

Sneak Attack - (1d6)

(6) = 6

OOC:
modifiers dont change on the targeted at attacks so lets say 13 at B1 and 25 at BC. So hits all around.

The rule is odd sometimes, and most of the time doesnt come into play.

Bandit dead, BC hit.

And yes your turn. Will post results of attack soon

The bandits Leif strikes goes down as he whirls to the vulpin captain and his blade makes purchase with its target.

Sherry then comes around with her blades and strikes the bandit well on both her strikes. The vulpin looks wounded.
OOC:
with one enemy left skipping the map but Hurin's turn.
Mar 27, 2024 5:00 pm
Hurin directs the pulse of purple energy to Leif, casting healing word as a BA. In the same motion he turns to the vulpin. He mouths the words of his cantrip, each syllable becoming a whisper that grows into a cacophony of sound culminating in one ominous note.
OOC:
Healing word to Leif as a BA followed by toll the dead cantrip on the vulpin as his action. The vulpin will need to make a DC13 WIS save or take 1d12 nec dmg.

Rolls

Healing Word - Leif - (1d4+3)

(2) + 3 = 5

Toll the Dead - Vulpin (DC 13 WIS Save) - (1d12)

(8) = 8

Charun flaps his wings to launch himself into the air then glides to crash into the bandit. Alighting nearby Charun slams the bandit with his spear.
OOC:
experiment, let me know if there is a problem with this
Won't flap bonus action, glide move. Heavy glider to land on the bandit, attack a print figure advantage, ignore advantage if the are not prone
OOC:
sigh, bad first try, well maybe next time

A hero relies on his wits, and the weight of his sword.
—The Adventures of Corrigan Oakheart

"Say, fellow. That's an impolite way to say 'I surrender'." Leif grunted. Can't say he never gave the vulpin a chance. He moved in as it attacked Sherry and left him an opening.
OOC:
Thank you for the heal! It's so good having a cleric who casts Bless and heals!!!

The vulpin quickly raises her blade and parrys the first strike from Leif however it left an opening and Leifs offhand makes purchase. Ending the bandit captains life...

Out of combat. Now
Mar 27, 2024 9:54 pm
Hurin will move to the merchant, intent on healing if need be. He'll touch their shoulder to see if they can be roused.

"You're safe now. We mean only to help you."
Mar 27, 2024 10:18 pm
Leif let out a frustrated scream--an angry squeak, really--as the vulpin slid down his blade. It didn't have to end this way, but of course it did. Bandits! His face twisted with disgust.

Hurin looked like he was tending to the merchant, so Leif quickly knelt down to check for a pulse on the vulpin, ensuring it was dead, before moving on to the others to see if anyone could be saved.
Mar 27, 2024 10:22 pm
"My whiskers, that was close! Thank you all for protecting me and my cart." The merchant stands up finally and brushes off her trousers, this is when the party can clearly see her face. A small cat-like figure stands before them.

An Elurian, a type of humanoid that hails from the far west outside of Humblewood.

OOC:
There was one Bandit who was only knocked unconscious by Sherry
Mar 27, 2024 10:58 pm
Charun moves to help Leif and upno finding a survivor stips it of all weapons then binds any critical wounds befoer also bining their hands and feet together behind their back.

As he works h talks with the Elurian My name is Charun. You must either be unfamiliar with out lands or very unlucky. I am surprised you were not advised against traveling alone when passing through Medowfen. The bandits are a known hazard of the area. What shall we call you and where are you heading.
Mar 28, 2024 12:59 am
my name is Eliza. I am on my way to Alderheart. My cousins recently passed and left me her shop their to take over. Any chance you are heading that way too?
OOC:

Mar 28, 2024 1:54 am
