He attacked twice with his sword, but both attacks missed. If I repost and roll again there's a chance he might hit this time, I just want to be fair and honest

By the way, Gray should get to attack with -2 to the enemy AC if he can position to flank the mephit with Martha.

For the hand crossbow attack I'd already included the -5, that's why was I only getting +1. Without the -5 it would have been +6

XP corrected from the start. FYI I do a mix of xp earned and level waited. For example chapter 2 require level 2, so if you did not get enough XP, you'll be level 2 at he start of chapter 2. If you get enough xp before, you gain level when you reach 1000 xp.

I'm fine with however you want to distribute XP.

By the way, for future reference, let's always assume Martha is using non-lethal attacks with her fists. She's not really aiming to kill so much as knock people out if possible.

Hi YullyBear, I have a suggestion about the game. There's been a couple of times like right now where I feel like our characters have been bumping into invisible walls, like there's a specific approach you would like us to take before we can continue the story.

To avoid the game slowing down, is it possible in future scenes for you to give us the possible actions we can take that will still make progress? For example, when describing a castle we need to enter, you might say that we can bribe a guard, shapeshift into mice, or convince someone to introduce us. Options that will lead to us moving the story forward.

I admit, I am bad at getting subtle ( and even obvious hints) especially in pbp. If we are venturing down a path you feel is a waste of time, just let us know.

Here there is no specific approach, but to break a woden windows or door There is a resistance of 5 Hp, that means if you do damage 6, the wood will only take damage 6 - 5 = 1. A stone is 1d6 damage and the nummber of hp of the wooden door windows is 20+

Since a round takes 6 seconds, I'm happy to spend a minute or two breaking the window. I'll change it to Martha's fists though, and I'm not sure what a window's AC is but it can't be that high.
