2. Who dunnit ? Who killed Thunder ?

The Professor comes to you and ask you

So were you able to conclude if it was a murder or just a series of unfortunates events ?

"Thank you, Elizia, for shedding light on the nature of the snake bites," Vespera begins, her tone respectful and earnest. "Your knowledge is invaluable in our quest for answers."

Pausing briefly, Vespera's expression takes on a more serious demeanor as she delves into the heart of the matter. "I couldn't help but wonder if you were aware of anyone who might have had a grudge against Thunder. Perhaps someone who was angry with him or had reason to wish him harm?"

With the leads at hand and the limitations of the investigation becoming apparent, Vespera considers the next course of action. Then a thought occurred to her, if Thunder had been the victim of foul play, his personal belongings might yield clues or insights into his final moments.

"Let's search Thunder's wagon," she suggests to the group, her tone determined. "If there's anything to be found, it might be hidden among his belongings. We need to leave no stone unturned in our quest for answers."

As Vespera approaches Thunder's wagon, her footsteps echo with a mix of determination and trepidation. Pushing aside the curtain, she steps inside, her eyes scanning the interior for any sign of disturbance or clue that might illuminate the circumstances of Thunder's demise.

"With the number of mishaps happening during the last show, I'll stay dry for a month if it ends up a coincidence," Martha declares at the Professor's question.

Thunder and Martha catch up with Sam backstage: "Sam, excellent work as always! The show had a few . . . quirks, but none of those were your fault of course. I did want to talk to you about Thunder. Can you tell me more about what you saw? Anything or anyone suspicious?"

Sam is bothered to not be of any help, he concentrates looks toward the area where he found Thunder thik again.

No, I'm sorry, I just so a bundle of clothes half-hidden, when I pull and opened it, it was Thunder's body. Who could have done something so despicable ?

"You were the last one to see the boss before he went up to the big tent in the sky, Sam," Martha coaxes. "Take a breath. Did you see anything odd? Did Thunder seem different somehow?"

He shook his head

I'm not sre I was the last one, I did see him this morning.

"That's helpful," Martha lies encouragingly. "So what was Thunder up to in the morning? Did he have a word with you?"

"And if you know anyone esle he talked to today, that infor would help also. Thanks Sam." Gray adds, and gives him a hearty pat on the back.

Gicicero heads to Thunder's dwelling. He starts searching around for any clues...

Theman answer Martha

No I saw him early this morning in the camp, waved hi, that's about it. You know he was an early riser and always took a stroll.

Martha scratches her beard. "Where did he take a stroll to? Can you show us?"

Around the camp as he did every morning before going into the tent and concentrate on the show to come. I did not see him going in the tent, I was just going back to my wagon, it was quite early and nature called.

Shaking her head, Martha nods quick farewell to the circus member and departs. She nudges Gray with her elbow. "Well, what do you think? Ol' Sam still seems rattled from everything that happened." She sighs. "I can hardly blame him, but still, that's not much help for us to solve this mess."

The group, decide to visit Thunder's Wagon looking for some clues. They cross the water and are near the camp fire.

Gray answers Martha as they walk. "Yes, that wasn't terribly helpfu. Still more pieces of the puzzle to locate. Let's catch up with some of the others and see if they found anything useful"

Gicicero scampers around on all fours sniffing around for any more snakes or rats that could cause problems while heading to Thunder's Wagon.

A colorful banner, each side of the wagon have a colorful banner advertising the Wayward Wonders in large capital letters, surrounded by images of the most famous acts in the show.

Three steps are affixed to the wagon rear, leading up to a red door with a golden knob.

As the conversation with Sam concludes and the group makes their way towards Thunder's wagon, Vespera listens attentively to the exchanges, her mind already racing with thoughts and questions.

Once they arrive at the wagon, Vespera takes a moment to observe the colorful banners adorning the sides, a poignant reminder of the vibrant life Thunder once led. With a sense of determination, she approaches the red door with the golden knob, her gaze fixed on the entrance.

Turning to her companions, Vespera speaks with a solemn yet resolute tone. "It seems we have more questions than answers, but we must press on. Let us search Thunder's wagon for any clues that may shed light on this tragedy."

With that, Vespera reaches out and grasps the golden knob, her heart heavy with the weight of their mission. As the door creaks open, she braces herself for whatever secrets may lie within.

Vespera turns the knob, but the door is locked.
