You all wake in the morning to the smell of food. Elaria is at a table drinking something that seems hot with a full plate of food in front of her. I was speaking to the innkeeper and there are a couple shops in town where we can get the supplies we need for out journey. So eat up and we can get going.

Browyn hadn't slept in proper bed for quite sometime so it was too comfy for him and sleep didn't came too quickly. After dozing for sometime he went into a deep sleep and woke up early feeling quite rested. Freshening up, he clothed himself and got ready to go out exploring, wondering what he had been led into. When he came downstairs he noticed Elaria was already taking her breakfast. He gingerly took a seat and grabbed some of the food that was available.

Felskrudd enters with a yawn, though he is used to waking up early, his body would have preferred to sleep in. Silently he grabs a plate of food. He listens to Elaria before talking himself. "What do we need beyond rations?" he asks the rest. "I have a field kitchen on the back of the cart. But the highwaymen left me with little else I'm afraid."

She a little concerned and embarrassed when asked about supplies. I am not sure, this is kind of new to me. On the way here I stayed in inns. The few times I did need to sleep outside I had a tent and various other things but they were supplied by my father and handled by his people. This is my first journey by myself.

Browyn listened as he continued to eat but then added, "If we are going in dungeons, I think torches are a must as well as ropes. Firewood can be scavenged outside and I can hunt games if we want to conserve our rations. From what we have learned in the last battle, we should carry armour and medicinal poultices or something."

His mouth half-full of food as he chews at the breakfast table, Lothar nods as he speaks semi-intelligibly. "Aye. A couple tents, rope, hm, lamps and torches, oil, nom nom, a grapple hook, we’ll want to be outfitted!"

As for sleep — he did so soundly. Lothar rarely had trouble getting proper shuteye…

Elaria listens as people rattle off possible supplies and you can see that she is thinking of cost in her head. she turns to your merchant as says,

Felskrudd, you are a merchant, tell me if I am wrong. It seems that there is a lot of supplies that we are possibly lacking and money is short. That means a financier is needed. If I am not mistaken that one who backs the cost of an expedition not only has more to lose if the expedition is a bust but also gets a greater reward if successful. Now if said backer pays for the supplies needed to go on said expedition they get a greater share of anything found on it or am I missing something?

she finishes with an innocent smile.

"That's how it has gone when I have supported adventurers before," he says. "Though it is a volatile marked to invest in. High risk, high reward. Safer to invest your money in currency. A lot more secure than adventurers. But yes, the investor would get their money back with high interest and the adventurers would have to share the rest."

"Wait, wait a minute," Lothar says, pointing at Elaria with the belt knife he's using to cut up his food. "There's another way to do that. Just loan some money to those what need it... then charge a bit more on the payback. Yeah? And the shares otherwise... remain equal."

She puts her hand up to her chin like she is thinking. I mean we could do that but then each person take the win or lose of the journey/ Though if that is a bust they still owe the one they got the loaned the money.

She smiles at Lothar and says, I maybe young, untested and maybe a bit naive but don't take me as stupid. I don't mind helping the group out as we go as I have much at stake here. Still I won't be taken advantage of either.

Krisanna hops up into one of the nearby chairs, her approach unnoticed til now. She eagerly serves herself at least twice what one would expect for someone of her stature and wastes no time taking a first rather copious bite of breakfast. Waving her recently emptied fork in a small circle with her hand, she adds around a mouthful of food, "Wot's all this then? Lothar taking advantage of a beautiful maiden? Perish the thought!"

Lothar gazes at Elaria for a moment with a deadpan look, but when she smiles at him, and then when Krisanna the Bold puts on her show his face splits and he laughs heartily and holds up his hands. "Ha! Just an idea is all! Fine, fine. A share and a quarter for our financier!"

[Felskrudd nods. b]"We'll be careful, too many dies before they can repay any amount of debt,"[/b] Felskrudd says. "This group seems to have what it takes though."
