You traverse the hallway and it opens into a room, a dark damp chamber Dug out burial chambers cover the walls from floor to ceiling. Broken skeletons. moldered rags, and shards of crushed pottery can be seen all over the place.

Browyn came to the front where Krisanna and Lothar were looking around, "Hmm, this seems to be a passage we can explore. Did you find anything?"
He took an arrow from the quiver and started to prod at the skeleton down on the floor. Then he moved over to the broken remains and tried to shift them with his feet in order to make a way.

Browyn slides past the others and begins searching the ruined room. As he does so across the room hidden in the ceiling a giant spider drops down. You hear a small shriek from the burial chamber closet to the spider.

Browyn turns around hearing the shriek and quickly took out his bow and notched an arrow, "Damn spider! Be careful everyone." He took aim and shot an arrow towards the spider.

Lothar slips past Krisanna, striding into the room with his sword bared and shield at the ready. "Keep the thing's fangs from you, Browyn!" the man cries as he moves to attack. The hunter's arrow finds its mark, but if the huge spider lives, Lothar will follow up with his steel!

"Just like that time in... what was it? Feld-something?" Krisanna says as she loops right around the warrior and flanks the creature, daggers flashing as she strikes at it from behind.

Browyn fires his bow and gets it in one of its eyes causing it to shriek in pain. Lothar swings his sword but the spider is faster than he thought. His swing though distracted it enough so that Krisanna could get behind it and attack, unfortunately though she attacked its rear she was not able to get a truly solid hit.
The spider turns and looks over the party like one looks over a buffet, This causes you to react in horror (make a will check to resist fear if you are within 10 M of it.)(each square is 2 meters).

Now seeing the full size of the thing, Lothar grimaces as all those black eyes glisten! "It's a big bastard, and not done for yet!" he shouts as he tries to hold the line!

The massive size of the spider was truly intimidating and the speed with which it was dodging the attacks was blindingly fast. Doubt crept inside Browyn's heart but as the spider turned to face them it turned into choking fear. He gripped his bow harder and stood his ground. He had been able to hit it once and he can do it again. The fear subsided slowly giving him a moment of sharp awareness.

Krisanna's eyes widen at the spider's quickness - she wasn't expecting that. The thing is huge, but she's used to dealing with oppponents larger than herself and she steels her nerves, focusing in on the kill.
"Circle it, keep some distance from each other, and keep moving. If we can keep it off balance long enough one of us is sure to take it out!" She continues to shift around towards the creature's rear, hoping next time to land the killing blow.

Felskrudd pops out from behind the wall, drops his knife and draws his sling and sends a rock flying at the creature.

Elaria step up into the opening chanting in a strange language, a ball of flame forms in her hand and she hurls it at the spider.
The giant spider already looking stunned from the barrage of hits and teetered a bit when Felskrudd sling bulltet hits it. The fireball hits the spider knocking it against the wall when it explodes lighting the spider on fire. It lays still against the wall the light in its eyes go out as the flames begin to engulf the body.

Lothar runs the thing through for good measure, though he holds his nose at the stink as he does it. Then, waving his shield to clear the air, he looks up and checks the corners of the room to make sure the spider did not have friends...

Kris holds her hand and motions the group to silence, pointing toward the burial niche. She and advances quietly toward it, ears trained for any future sounds, blade at the ready.
