The group writes a letter for Eliza.
When you find her in the town square she is talking with some cervan women (deerfolk) and appears to have made a deal.
By all means I will deliver this if needed. I am making a good amount of sales here so I may spend the rest of the day selling. Good luck in the caverns.

Surprised about what Scylla is planing on doing for future generations, the mapach girl seems a bit quiet, the next half an hour. That hole researcher thing had never entered her mind. The only people undertaking such things she knows of, keep busy in the fields of tinkering, drinking and carousing. But researching danger sounds pretty strange to Sherry. And a bit awesome she has to admit to herself with a guilty grin.
"If we embark on many adventures together, can I be in your book too? Or even become a co-author?" the junior adventurer asks suddenly after a lengthy pause while staring hopefully at the lupin woman.

She chuckles a bit at Leif, "Sadly there were no more musty tomes left to read in my local library. That said, I would be interested in the play but, it likely will not keep me from my musty old tomes for long."
Sherry asks her question and Scylla thinks about it a few moments, "If you contribute then I will assuredly include you. Now, since we'll have to wait to study the slimes, can you tell me more about these Bandits you faced?"

Most if the bandits seemed to be simple highwaymen. Bereft of simple honest income the turned to raiding others. A sorry but all to common take.
Scylla, what areas of lore did you study Charun asks curiously
As they travel Charun will make greater use of his gliding abilities once they get into the marshier environment. He will use the elevation to try and help plot as safe and dry a course as possible.

As Scylla mentions the bandits, the young adventurer hangs her head with a sombre face. Listening to Charun, she adds her view on the situation: "A story written a hundred times before. Some unfortunate schmucks, not able to make a living under the uncaring birdfolk regime. Trying to survive. A bad decision leads to the next and ..." here she sighs "before anyone is any wiser or better, they turned to banditery and now they are dead."
Taking a few steps in silence the mapach girl raises her chin and puffs out her chest: "At least one could be saved. We" here a sly grin appears on the girls face as she makes a group including twirl with her index-claw "spooked him real good. So ... he promised to lead a better life." The typical twinkle returns during those words to Sherry's eyes.
"Now he is on his way to Meadowfen. They lost many strong arms there. Hopefully, he can make himself useful and finds his place there."

She jots some quick notes down. Her handwriting is elegant and very readable even using a simple pencil. She also sketches some simple drawings of each of her new allies with a bit of artistic license. As she hears Sherry’s tale the figures of each of you stand in front of some "defeated" bandits with one kneeling in subjugation before you.
To Charun she says, "Arcana and History are my main strengths. My mother is more fascinated with medicine and I have had more than a few religious diatribes from father. I’m hoping to learn more about the natural world and, of course, my main areas of study."

Leif ranged further ahead than the others, and could just make out enough to get the gist of the conversations, but was too far ahead to participate in it. As the conversation turned to the bandits, he scampered further ahead so as to not be triggered by it. He had no sympathy for bandits, and would certainly not suffer himself to listen to some understanding sob story. Things were easier out here in nature, everything has a place, and everything made sense.

As you guys travel through the Mokk Fields, you will notice the wildlife around you. Frogs, toads, salamanders, crocodiles and the likes as well as the occasional slime oozing its' way around. Charun is able to direct the group around any obstacles he sees and you make swift time when heading to the caverns.
The swampy paths are difficult to navigate but easy enough with the help.
As you approach the caverns you can see a small run down hut to the outside of one of the cave entrances, and two slimes slinking around the main path that lead to it.

Knowing he is no great tracker or detective Charun simply looks for a vantage point he can reach for lookout.

For future reference, can a Bonus Action Wing Flap be combined with Jump Movement? Ex: Wing Flap = 12.5 + Jump (calculated) = 2.5 == 15' jump with a vertical reach of 21' Rolls

Charun would see that the slimes seem to be moving around the area blindly, one appears to be on top of something by the entrance to the cave. No other creatures are near.
The cave entrance is about a 15ft high 20ft wide opening that is dark on the inside. There is a slight tinge of blue light coming from some iridescent mushrooms just on the inside you can make out

Charun leaps up and she watches as he glides down. There’s some small atavistic feeling as she waits for him to return, her ears slick down and she wants to hide in wait so she can pounce. She’s above such behavior and instead focuses on one of the slimes.
She approaches closely towards the slime, pencil out, sketch paper ready, and arcane words forming on her lips.

Spotting something of interest Charun heads to the slime by the entrance. This one seems you be on something. he calls to the others as he prods it with his long spear.

As the group gets closer to the slimes, they turn toward anyone who approaches with 60ft and starts moving toward them.
Leif, you would recognize that them approaching probably means they were completely unaware of you until you got closer. Walden did say they were easy to hit but hard to hurt as well.

Not sure how to proceed Sherry stays in the back an readies her crossbow. Maybe they could scare them off? A wagon filled with salt would probably come in handy here - she thinks by herself and as she smiles.

Stopping his advance Charun asks the others Um.... Do these things destroy weapons and armor? after recalling some vague legends. He checks the size and color of these slimes and tries to recall more information as he retreats from their advance.
