I wasn't sure you were referring to a previous game. Now it makes more sense. Ha ha.

I must admit, I reckon I hold my own as a GM on the most part, but the Icon rolls and interventions busts my brain and the rulebook isn't particularly clear on it. I like the 13th Age mechanics, but as a GM I wouldn't necessarily miss the Icons.

While I'm on, I just want to wish you all a good weekend and also to say thanks. As you are aware, the last two and a half weeks hasn't been easy for me and my family. Your continued commitment to this game and the way you approach posting your updates has given me a social outlet during some pretty dark days and long nights in the hospital with a shaky Wi-Fi connection. I admit it's a steep learning curve for me and I'm probably missing out on potential actions but I'm learnng as I go. If anyone has any suggestions for me I'm keen to hear em!

I'm finding it trickier to post at the weekends than I thought but, at the most, should only ever hold things up for 24 hours.

Just to clarify, I've no expectation on players to post at the weekend. If they do then fine, I'll continue the story but I'm generally expecting it to go dark Saturday/Sunday.

I'm enjoying it, granted I should probably read up on the Icons since I'm unfamiliar for the setting ones.

All in all I think everything is working very well - the Icons haven't really made any sort of appearance yet (though it's still really early in the session/game). Most of my questions have to do with the setting, but I'm figuring that will become clearer as the game progresses.

I'm enjoying it. The pace is perfect for me and you're GMing responsively.

Like I said I'm learning as I go but luckily you all seem like the patient sort. :D

Not a lot of gameplay to base a real opinion on yet, I'm enjoying it so far! :-)

I like the game so far, but I don't like the dice when rolling attacks. I don't think the dice likes me :P

From a GM perspective, I've not helped by running this current encounter straight out of the box. It's quite chunky in terms of opposition so it's a slow fight on PbP. That's not helped by the fact that it's come so close on the heels of the previous fight. This wouldn't have been an issue face to face as we'd probably have dealt with both combats in a single session but it's a bit unwieldy in this medium.
