So, our GM has been active -- but just not with this game.

@BedzoneII : Have we scrapped this game? No action in a solid month. I'm thinking it's dead, but wanted to reach out.

I'm busy IRL and have too much games on the plate - so I can wait. But knowing if I should discard this game from my "may be active some day" list, could be helpful with planing next games in the future:)

Hi all,

yes I'm still active daily on GP with a good number of other games. I've also expressed earlier how, while I do have a full story and scenario outlined for us here, I do feel that I haven't been able to achieve the momentum needed to keep this game steady, primarily because we've all had to be away at one point or another. We're also down one player, but five remaining is still a very solid number to play on.

One thing to look forward to is that, while it's been a slow start, the next chapter is the 'proper' coming together of a party of adventurers, and will play out with more interaction between all of you, and will conform to a more regular plot and pace (barring the usual surprises along the way).

I haven't lost interest, and I still want to ambitiously run a cross pollinated MY0 game one day. I am glad to hear that there's still interest. Gene's been actively reminding, MaJunior sounds open to still have this on his plate, and so is Pedrop. I believe Furmyr is around, but will wait for him to chime in. And let's hear from AceRancheros too.

With such commitment, I feel confident to restart the next chapter. But if some of you have lost interest because of the delays, and/or prefer to put this on hold, that's perfectly okay too. I appreciate your playing up to this point, thank you.

So let me know by chiming in? I'm good both with continuing as well as closing shop.

Hi everyone, I reached out to GeneCortess since he was the one who had dropped some reminders, but he's declined to continue with the game.

Call it an irrational bad feeling, but while I appreciate the clear and positive replies from four of you, I can't shake the pessimism that's preventing me from continuing this game with a positive outlook. I've enjoyed the characterisation of raging Salomon which provided lots of initial drama, the quiet tenacity of Chomp, and the sly dealings Kirin and Kirk, and I want to see them get together for the first mission. But I may have lost the focus for this. As such, I do not intend to keep everyone hanging; regretfully I will not be proceeding with this game. Thanks once again for your contributions thus far, as well as your patience.

As a counteroffer (despite any loss of faith you might have), if any of you are still interested in a Year Zero game based in the same world, I do have a vacancy in the Mechatron game. We are in the middle of the first mission, and there's an appropriate juncture to fit you in. Alternatively, if robots is not your thing, I can also insert you into the Genlab Alpha game. Happy to go the extra mile to get you up to speed by way of making it up to you.

If not, then I look forward to playing with you in another game somewhere on GP. Once again, thanks everyone for this brief stint.

Thanks for clearing things out, and letting us know at what we are standing right now:) Also thanks for GMing the game until this moment. It's a pity, because I started to like Salomon in this version, but I'm too busy IRL and one less game is not a bad thing for me - looking at matters from this side, at least:) Plus it's second Mutant game that died out here on GP.

I looked at Mechatron earlier but decided RPing such character (semi-human-like conciseness, but that is not human) would be too taxing for me, as I'm not native speaker.

As for Genlab - Salomon could be not a bad fit I guess... ;) - can you make it public again or add me as spectator (I'm following few campaigns here on GP) so I could check if it's for me and join when/if I will be less busy IRL?

Thank you for the thoughtful words Pedrop. Salomon was a blast for me too! The recent GP update toggled games to private, so I've swtiched it back to public for you to follow along. My Mutant games were all meant to be public so that people could see what was going on in the other games. If there's an opportunity or interest from you in the future to pop in, we can arrange for that. If not, never say never to a fresh MY0 concept from me!

If that happens, you people will be the first I'll ping. That includes you Furmyr. Having had the pleasure of playing with you before, if things get less busy and you're looking for more games, who knows? :)

Side note: Is there just one book? Because I think I have the Mechatron book. Curious if there are any secondary books though.
