This is what was listed as the end result from the last rules review we had

Heavy Armor Item : Wearing this grants 1 armor point and imposes disadvantage on all tests except Saves. Armor points protects from 1 hp of damage and are restored with maintenance.

Armored : Ignore the first damage taken in each conflict while wearing Heavy Armor and tests are not at disadvantage. Note this is in addition to the armor point that protects the wearer and must be repaired.

Okay I will take medium armor proficiency and take one of the chainmail shirts. Then take that trait later when I have enough xp to make it better.

You don't need to worry about the future! There is just the one Proficiency Armored. That means the chainmail counts as "heavy" armor and it will mitigate two HP of damage in each battle.

Do note that a Proficiency only takes 8 XP, not 10 XP like a Trait.

Where do we get the descriptions of the Chainshirt and Amulet?

Just add them to your character sheet, then I will update them with a better description. For the description of the chain shirt, say "Gives Toughness". For the Amulet, say "Gives Die-Hard." I can expand later.

Daryen you still haven't updated my new gear description.

Oops! Sorry!

I have updated them. I have changed the chainmail shirt a tad, but it works very similar and is, perhaps, a bit too good. If it's a problem, I might nerf it just a little to work like other armors, but the effect will always be the same: you get two extra hit points while wearing it.
