Trig immediately begins to search the room for any evidence or clues as to why the children are being kidnapped.

A search of the room turns up the aforementioned chest, bed, table, and bookshelf, but no further clues. Aristina does have a ring of keys on her belt, however.

OOC:
Well, since it's what I started examining earlier...
Trig returns to the bookshelf to examine it.

The bookshelf has an eclectic selection of volumes: 101 Ways to Die through Foolhardiness, Archibald’s Collected Signs, Barks of the World and their Medicinal Properties, Beardless Ladies, Gnomish Legends, Iron-Hard Legends, The Woman with the Gray Shortbow, The Battle of the Unmistakable Rhymes, Nine Great Dungeon Designs, Upon a Chilly Night, The Guide to Fruits, Nuts, and Berries, Lying with the Dead, How to be Evil, A Guide to Planar Travel, and A Dagger for the Werewolf.

Crow was blushing pretty hard as he read through the titles of some of the book. "These are uh... interesting reads."

Trig blushes to have Crow so near to her. ::Why did he come over here when he has that chest to examine?:: she thinks to herself, looking around for something that could have drawn his interest from the obvious object of his expertise. Was there a really interesting book? Or maybe a pretty girl? ::...it couldn't be because he wants to be close to ME??:: She gives a little gasp and a hiccup, which she tries to cover with a cough. She takes her hat in her hands (Koko tries to adjust her hair) and then remembers that that makes her even shorter and so she stuffs the hat back on her head (covering up Koko again) and looks everywhere except at Crow. "Uh...uh...you did a great job fighting Aristia there..." Suddenly she notices his wounds again. "Oh no! Are you hurt bad?" Trig curses herself for not healing him better; she can't heal him again today. "Can I...can I help you with something else...?" Trig's heart pounds in her chest, and she tries to cover her nervousness by grabbing a book from the shelf to read. She grabs Archibald's Collected Signs and opens it. "Uh...uh...what do you think, Tarna?"
OOC:
I'm pretty sure any information we can find is most likely to be on the table or in the chest. I only went back to the books because I had started looking at them before she jumped out and started fighting us.

"Well, it hurts, but it stopped bleeding so I think I am okay. Tarna is seriously hurt though."

Archibald's Collected Signs is a thick work by the human sage Archibald the Grey. It is a collection of signs and sigils, including the personal seals of several prominent archmages.
