Heads up on shis engines : There are 2 basic modes of high speed travel.
1. Slipstream : Requiring a basic Slip Drive that allow travel at near the speed of light (typically x1/4 to x1/2) and beyond. Various slip drives have different acceleration and maximum speeds without being subjected to temporal dilation as you travel at relativistic speeds.
2. Hyperspace : Requiring and extremely sensitive Hyperdrive this allows ships to move between stars but can only be done a specific "Jump Points" found in most systems. Each jump point only leads to one other star system. Most star systems have 1-3 jump points but some have 5-10 with these acting as military and trade hubs.
