Khel noticed that the traveller from Minkai took out the curved-looking sword and quickly dispatched the goblin's head from his body. He was surprised and intrigued by the fluid motion and the skill of the man. But the sound of more goblins coming from the south diverted his focus away from Mr. Li. He noticed the other goblin stealing food and pointed at it, sending a firebolt towards it.

OOC: Taking -1 to cast bolt. Rerolling the test because this is the school Khel is specialized in.

Khel's attack stuns the goblin, though it seems like it will get back in the fight soon.

It's hard to tell how many over the sound of battle and panic, but let's see how well you all notice.

Anyone who succeeded can approximate around a dozen goblins on the way.

Wess will knock over the fruit cart, hoping the can use it as cover. He shouts to the rest of the people in the plaza that stayed to fight "More goblins on the way, brace yourselves!"

Luna pries her blade from the wall and spares a glance at the scorched goblin corpse, and then to the force of the attack. She nodded towards Khel and made her way up to meet the green goblin to strikevit whilst it was momentarily shaken.

Chigaru scoops up his dog and passes her to a family who is heading into their house. "Keep her safe until this is over. Lock up the house." He will then take up a defensive position in the south to accept what little terrors may appear.

WIth the precise, long swing of Li's katana, goblin's head detaches from the rest of it's body, hits and bounce off the near wall, to finally roll towards east, in the direction of other goblin. Li face shows no emotion, staying almost expressionless. Bloody path on the ground, made by rolling head, leads his eyes at the other goblin, who happen to be missed by other combatant. And then - just as Li was about to run towards it - out of the sudden, the ugly being bursts into flames.

"Magic!" - Li concludes in his head, and looks around to see it's source.

"It's a man form Qadira! I was sure there is much more within him, than meets the eye!"

Li moved in haste towards the foreign wizard, to make a line of defense with him for the coming goblins, that could be heard from the south. Standing near, he makes a short nod towards him. As he would like to say:
"I think we will get along."- but no words leave Li's mouth.
OOC:
Li moves south-east in direction of Khel, as far as his pace allows and faces north, ready with his katana, still with a blade little dirty form goblin's blood.

Luna demolishes the poor goblin in one devastating blow. Just in time for a second group of goblins arrive from the south. Many more goblins this time around.

One group has found a cart of fuel for the bonfire, which they have alighted to their great joy. Another group is on their way towards the town center when they notice you all, and shriek in delight.

Both groups have a chanter in the back, which sings their horrible off pitch goblin song.
OOC:
Grimwulf and Chigaru can move anywhere if they'd like. Didn't move you so you can reach any of the goblins if you'd like.

"Oh sweet Desna's light..." Luna says after looking southward and seeing the other groups approaching. She begins making her way down to the cadre with the flaming cart.

I'm trying to move down enough to be about the middle point of in front of the cathedral to attempt to guard the goodly father and the mayor.

"Let's see how well that weapon of yours bashes heads," Chigaru says to the halfling. Then he moves to the southwest, running behind the cart to surprise the warchanter from behind. Hopefully their short attention spans will make them forget him if they lose sight for a few moments.

As Grimwulf finally sees the goblin hoard approaching, his grip tightens on the maul and a look of rage lights up across his face. It had been too long since he felt true elation like this, in the throes of combat, and succumbed to the anger whole-heartedly.

Sprinting toward the group, he swings wildly at the first two goblins within his reach.

Overswinging the first goblin, he course corrects and smashes the second one's head into a pulp (yellow dot).

Khel turned to look at Mr. Li, the traveller from Minkai and smiled. "Greetings Mr. Li, I have to applaud your excellent swordsman skill. I haven't seen such a style in Qadira. We both have so much knowledge to share. I thank you for your assistance and I think Sandpoint needs your skill against these vile creatures causing ruckus." He looked at the man with an oversized hammer running after the group in the front.

"They are coming from two sides, I will get up on the stage to get a better vantage point and we can already see more able hands joining the fight. However, only one is moving towards the group that is close to Father Zantus and Mayor Deverin. I think they need our protection. Lets show them what we can do."

Khel climbed up on the stage and pointed towards the warchanter at the distance and shot a firebolt towards the goblin.

OOC: Khel will climb up the stairs and reach the end of the stage then target the blue warchanter. I will spend 1 power point for this. Rerolling because of evocation magic. Warchanter is probably history.

Saldrina conjures a dark cloud that fills the wagon with water, causing the fire to subdue and decrease in size.

Chigaru moves to hide behind the goblins. And while the Warchanter notices him, before he has the time to call out Chigaru's presence a more dire threat arrives, taking the warchanter's priority. Grimwulf obliterates one goblin, leaving him a red and green stain on the ground. The warchanter yells out. "Kills it! Kills it!"

Not to be outdone, Khel shoots another bolt of fire. This one hits the warchanter, and sending him flying backwards. By the time the body has reached the wall of the house behind it, it has already incinerated and explodes in a dust of ash from the hard impact.

The red warchnater is aware of Chigaru's presence, but the rest of the goblins have no idea yet. Just Li left to act before the Goblins

1. But I have spent quite some time checking in the internets what skill I should use for throwing shurikens. As it was not so obvious to me. And I think in our earlier game we established it as using Shooting. But considering that damage for shuriken is written as 'Str+d4'(Javelin has also damage as 'Str+d6', but bow has 2d6) and it the rules there is this fragment(p.124):
"Throwing knives, spears, and other thrown projectiles uses the
Athletics skill."

now I'm quite sure it is Athletics skill. But tell me if I'm wrong and I should correct my roll.

2. Do we count individual shurikens/arrows in this game? Or we play it as "Li or someone else could collect them after the battle"?
Normally Li is quite talkative person, but apparently in the heat of battle he becomes a 100 percent focused person. So he was completely focused on the two coming groups of goblins, constantly shifting his gaze from one group to the other, as he would be calculating something, while still listening what Khel was saying to him. He noted slightly on Khel plan and just said:
"Agreed, Mr Khal. It's good to have someone knowing his ways on the battlefield, at side." - before running - again with small but very balanced steps - towards the stage, then along its western edge(on the ground, hopefully providing him some cover from easter side in case goblins would have some range weapons) towards north, with clear intention to attack group near the burning cart, but throwing one of his shurikens at the goblin from the other.

If I'm counting correctly Li should now be 2 squares to the right and 1 up, from Saldrina. He wasn't running as per mechanics, just wrote this for RP/visualization (remembering how samurais run in Kurosawa's movies... :). And he is attacking blue goblin 2 with his shuriken, that looks to be at Medium distance now?
