Khel walked towards the nobleman and bowed, "Greetings Lord Foxglove, I hope your injuries are not that serious but it would be better for you to check on with any clerics from the Cathedral. Assuming that there are only minor blemishes, they can check up on you to see if you are alright. Pardon me, I am new to the town, are you a resident here?"

"I am alive, and that's what is important. And it is all thanks to you," he says through gritted teeth. His injuries seems to bother him more than he is letting on.
"Thanks to you, and this little guy," he bends down to his dog and pats it. "Better companion you will not find."
He struggles up. "I think I'll take you up on the offer of the cathedral."
"I used to live here. But moved to Magnimar while still young," he says. "Thought I'd sample the festival and maybe put the old family home in order. We have a mansion outside of town, but sadly it has fallen into disrepair due to neglect."
With that he starts limping towards the cathedral.

"Take care, and maybe we will bump into you again at The Rusty Dragon." When he has gone, he turns to the others. "I will be retrieving my dog from the family I entrusted her to and then I'll be making my way to The Rusty Dragon as well. You are all welcome to join when you are able." Chigaru nods a farewell and walks to the house where his dog is waiting for him.

Khel nodded at Chigaru, "The Rusty Dragon? I will keep it in my mind. Once I have checked up on Father Zantus and Mayor Deverin, I will join you there."

Nodding to the others, "Aye, I'm going to pick up a few things and check up on the Wheen family. I can meet at the Rusty Dragon after."

Eventually most of the town gather in the various taverns for what turns out to be a rather somber celebration. The town is glad to have fought back the goblins, but mourning those who lost their life in its defense turns it to a more subdued affair.
One thing is for certain though, you have all gotten a reputation as the heroes of Sandpoint. Ameiko offers those of you from out of town free lodgings, and the townspeople all buy your drinks. You can drink for free for the next few days or even weeks if you play your cards right.
You are able to do your errands and meet up at the Rusty Dragon. Those of you with injuries have had time to take care of them at the cathedral.
Ameiko has finally time for her meeting with Li, so he excuses himself and leave the rest of you to talk amongst yourself. Every so often, one of the locals comes over and thanks you for your service.

The half-orc shakes his head. "Absolutely not. She has a sensitive stomach," he rumbles. This fact is very much not in evidence as Chigaru slips bits of a variety of foods under the table where it is instantly devoured by the dog. It should be noted that Chakra is well behaved and doesn't beg, but instead sits patiently on her rear end and observes the other tavern patrons with curiosity when she's not wolfing down food scraps.
"After years of training I was looking forward to some excitement outside the walls of the monastery, but I didn't expect something like this. I don't know much about goblins, but this seems more brazen than I expected from them." He chews on a sausage link while waiting for the others to speak.

Saldrina ponders her food, partaking slowly as if in deep thought. "Why would goblins risk a daylight raid on such a large community? They are typically far more cautious in selecting their targets. I wonder if they are being led by someone from Sandpoint, perhaps with a grudge against the city..."

Luna enters the Rusty Dragon after having procured a bath. Sweat from travel is one thing, but being blood splattered is another.
Unlike previously where her hair was tied back, not Luna's hair drapes a few inches past the nape of her neck. She's quite a bit taller than some might expect, standing at roughly 6' 2". She even bears a butterfly tattoo above her left cheek.
"Well then!" she says loudly as she grabs a drink and joins the others. "You all are great fighters and casters! I'm Luna, Luna Mythosweaver. I just got in from Korvosa when everything happened. Thank Desna we were able to defend the town..."

Grim, you can't recall anyone having a bone to pick with Sandpoint. At least not to this degree. If anything you've heard that goblin raids have declined lately.

Khel entered Rusty Dragon and noticed the now well known group of warriors who defended the town. He also noticed the arcane caster Saldrina among others. Walking towards the group he drew a chair and took his seat. "Looks like everyone whom I saw there has already arrived. Did I overhear that you all are discussing about the goblin raid? Pardon me, if I am mistaken. Wasn't a fire took place and burnt the old church where the cathedral stands now? Anyone who is native here can elaborate over this. What exactly happened?"

Any local can tell you the old cathedral burned down 10 years ago. Little is known as the cause, but nothing indicated arson being the cause. It claimed the old priest and his adopted daughter.
