"I have not had the honor yet, Master Drokkus. I will take you up on that offer," Chigaru says with a polite bow.

After he has departed, Chigaru steps into the Mayor's office. Having not been present at the recent news, he stands in silent support as they inform Mayor Deverin of their new intel.

"The other strongly possible hypothesis is that: the persons responsible for recent goblin attack, that are lead by or connected to Tsuto - could use the ruins under the Old Light as part of their means of entering the town unnoticed or they may be now connected with smuggler tunnels network, Mayor" - Li didn't forget to add.

"As I have heard we need your permission to enter those ruins. So in the name of people also responsible for this town safety, I ask you for such permission. Our enemy has means of moving around the town unnoticed, most probably using underground tunnels. And we have to secure those paths and find all entrances. Will you provide us with such permission?"

"Those tunnels have been closed for years. Before my time. They end up at the beach somewhere. But I know there was one at the glassworks, and if Lonjiku has been taken as you said, it could be to gain access to the tunnel," the mayor replies.

"The old light has been explored quite thoroughly, and no one has found any secrets. It has been closed so no one will be hurt by falling debris. But if you think it will help, you have my permission."

"If the goblins are moving underneath the tunnels, we should investigate. Perhaps even collapse them, fall on their rotten heads and take care of the problem."

Chigaru grunts. "Best to leave destruction to a minimum. Inspecting the tunnels seems the highest priority. Maybe the goblins used them to enter Sandpoint the last time. At the least we can find where they came from."

Khel nodded listening to everyone's opinion, "Looks like there can be two entry point based on what Mayor Deverin said. We can either search the beach or search Lords Kaijitsu's glass works. I say we better get moving fast."

"Or both. If we split up we can cover both entrances at once and meet in the middle to make sure nothing escapes past us."

"And what about entrance by the ruins? Still possible. I agree - we should split to look for entrances - but whoever will be successful first, should come for others and we should enter the tunnels together." - Li looked over gathered.

"So who goes to the ruins with me? I can go there with Brodert Quink alone - until with confirm there is any new entrance. Who goes to the glass works? Who will be looking at the beach ?"

"I was counting on this Mr Khel!" - Li confirmed enthusiastically.

"So who's going for the beach and who for glass work? The first group finding a proper entrance should gather the rest - I think."

So when the group will divide it's forces once again(hopefully last time for the near future) Li intentions will be to go for Brodert Quink's home(again! ;) ), proclaim the exciting news to old scholar, allowing him to prepare a little, and taking him on the ruins site... unless Khel have different plans for this? Than Li will cooperate of course.

Wess speaks up "We don't even know where the entrance on the beach is do we? I'd prefer not to split into three groups if there's a possibility of getting ambushed by dozens of goblins."

Nodding at Wess, "Agreed, the little buggers can quickly overwhelm a small party, especially if there are as many as the elf proclaims. Best for all of us to stick together."

Looking at Li, "We join you for Quink," then at the others, "then to the Glassworks, if closest? If we can't crush them from overhead, perhaps we can lead them out to the beach to drown."

Chigaru snorts. "There will not be many within Sandpoint's walls after their last failed attempt. If we stick together and the runts run away, we will likely not be able to catch them. But if you are scared then I will come with you all and keep you safe," he grins, emphasizing his tusks.

"I'm NOT scared if goblins. It's not fear big guy, it's tactics. We can't pin them down between us, if we don't even know where the entrance on the beach is."

You quickly find your way over to Quink. He sighs at your rush, but limps along with you to the Old Light.

It rises from sea level and is built into the face of a 120-foot-tall cliff, with the tower extending another 50 feet above that level to culminate in ragged ruins.
