Meanwhile Li heads to Brodert Quink to get another lesson in Alchemy. While the experiment is going on he tells Li his theory about an ancient powerful kingdom once existing under their very feet and his debunked theory that the Old Light (the lighthouse) once was a war machine capable of spewing fire to a range of more than a mile. You are able to figure out that the toy horse and the hair you found earlier is the same person with a high degree of certainity. He tries to make sure that nothing is 100%, but it's close.
