William looks in the window. If he doesn't see anyone he opens it and tries to crawl inside.

William has a sense of dread and excitement all at once. He thinks to himself how honored he will be to discover the secrets about this tragedy and inform his mates, but then realizes his mates seem to be all missing. He stops on the stairs and looks back, thinking of turning around. You are so damn close. May as well push on since you've come to the very edge of it.

As Bill creeps up the steps, they creak loudly. He freezes listening for a pause in the old man's snores. The snores continue.

Reaching the top of the stairs undiscovered, Bill opens the door to Blaine's single room apartment. A piece of police tape remains stretched across the entrance, and he slides under it. The room appears to have been relatively well maintained and clean but now books and class-related notes are scattered everywhere, as are many empty whiskey bottles.

Overly cautious, William is afraid to go down to meet them, he opens the window. William attempts to be loud and whisper at the same time. "Where is Mathis? What's going on?"

Chuck shrugs his shoulders and points his thumb to Rod. "This one says he was taken or picked off or what have you, and needs your help to get him back, I guess."
