CancerMan, what program are you using to create the map? It looks great

It's called 3D Virtual Tabletop.

I'm not too convinced that it works well in the PbP setting. I'm using a Google Docs spreadsheet with your Rose teammates, and while that lacks the pretty pictures, it just means one map that we can edit. 3D VTT can be edited, but for GamersPlane I have to take a screenshot and host it somewhere each time there's a change.

I think after this I'll switch to the Google Doc.

Alright guys. Life has been kicking me in the ass pretty bad for the last few months, so I've been pretty burnt out on GP. But I'm getting back into things, so just give me some time to read up on what the party's been up to and I'll talk to CancerMan about getting caught up.

Welcome back, CZ! Glad to hear things are on the upswing.

Rhodrick's down? Damn, I was afraid of that. Honestly, Jandral wouldn't have initiated the retreat if he'd seen Rhod fall. Technically, he would have gone down on the grimlocks' turn, and everyone would have seen, right? It's the nature of PbP: there's lag time between the actions and feedback/results of actions, so sometimes you end up not reacting/responding appropriately.

Yup - Parallel would have hung in there, too. What th no healer, our best hope is stabilization and a defensive shield of buddies with the casters blasting away.

I will start tracking all of your HP so that situations like these can be immediately determined. Perhaps I will post them in my OOC reports, since that sorta reflects the tabletop metagame.

For this round, I will let you revise your movements should you prefer standing over your fallen comrade's body.

How do you handle inspiration points? Can I add them to a roll after I roll?

Inspiration will grant you advantage on an attack roll, saving throw, or ability check.

I think Jinn is asking if you need to declare you're using it before you roll, or if you can wait and see if you roll sucks and then use inspiration to boost it.

I'm honestly okay with either, though I'd imagine you'd not want to declare and potentially waste the inspiration. You can roll and, if you think the result won't cut it, spend inspiration to add another roll. It just needs to be done before I post the result.

I'm sorry for my extended absence. I've been swamped at work and my laptop crapped out on me at home. New laptop has arrived, but still just keeping my head above water with work.

Not sure how frequently I'll be able to post for the next little while. I'll try to keep up but if I get too far behind to the point where everyone thinks I'm dragging the game down, just say and I'll understand. I want to stay but not at the expense of everyone's fun.

For several rounds back there I thought this would end up a TPK for sure. But everybody played it smart, slowly turned it around, and we got through it. Tordek's return is icing on the cake. You guys are all awesome!
