Seth had insufficient data to form an opinion. Moreover human subtlety and nuance like rhetorical questions were lost upon him.
"It leads to another part of the station." He said after a few seconds of a rather awkward silence. His tone stated the obvious as a matter of fact. Though his eyes had narrowed slightly, in one of Seth's more uncanny imitations of human emotion. Consternation. He was perplexed and unable to discern whether Bob was asking because Bob wanted to know, or if Bob was playing some sort of game.
Seth's survival programming made him quite uneasy at that lack of discernment. The situation reminded him of Cain and Abel, his predecessors. Abel had been killed for imitating Cain, Cain had escaped because he could understand human emotion but not perfectly mimick it. Seth could perfectly mimick it, but did not understand the purpose of it. All in All, Seth was likely more disturbed by the situation because he *knew* Bob was asking a rhetorical question but did not grasp the nuance of *why* Bob had done so.
Seth involuntarily shivered, and his hair had stood up on end. Fortunately the armored suit and reflective mask of the RIG concealed these from Bob and the Camera.
"Bob. I am going in." There was nothing more disturbing than an Android that was visually indistinct from a human being, attempting to process human emotions. Seth thought that acting and moving away from the tension would help.
But like so many programs he had telling him he was a human like Bob, Seth was wrong, in more ways than three he was wrong.
OOC:
I hope I am accurately portraying an Android Model that will one day evolve into David⁸ or Walter¹.
