Great map. A couple of minor clarifications (no need to update), just so that everyone understands the precise layout ...

1. There are stairs leading down on all four sides of the platform
2. The pillars supporting the canopy are also on all four sides of the platform. They are aligned on the gridlines, 5' in from the edge, i.e. there are five, not four, on each side.
3. The above means the statue and the distinct floor section are closer to the centre of the platform.

The grid is 10x10 ft for this map.

The "further down" stairs are actually 5' to the west of where you've positioned them (i.e. within the main body of the room) and they only take up the central 10' section of the eastern wall (i.e. there is a normal floor in the north-east corner of the room).

Oh, you mean it's contained within the room itself. Gotcha, edited accordingly.

- Thoth statue room lit by guttering torches, ceiling plaster is intact but too dark to see

- Baboon fresco's eyes are push-buttons of some kind

- Brown sludge pool room lit by continual light spell

10x10ft grid

Map is almost right ... those diagonals are tricky.

The west diagonal is slightly too long. It should end one square north of where you have it

And both passages in the eastern fork should be 20' south of where they are currently.

Sorry, I made a mistake in my description ... I thought the two forks were symmetrical, but on closer inspection, they're not. The eastern fork should intersect with the westerly corridor 10' further to the west. So the eastern fork is in a sort of south-south-east direction rather than a straight south-east direction. Apologies - 100% my fault.

So the eastern branch is not at a 45° angle, but at a 30° angle? Meaning it goes 2 squares south for every square east?

Not quite ... it's a weird corridor where the walls aren't quite parallel. If you hit the two circled grid nodes below, you have it right ...

Yeah 3 vertical for every two horizontal, got it.

It's 2:3 for the lower wall, but 3:4 for the upper.

That is certainly a complicated passage, lol. Third time's the charm?

Close enough!

Are doors typically 5' or 10' wide?

If I understand right, the opening in the west corridor would join with the southeastern fork.
