On the road

Alex looks at all the intimidation going on, and decides it looks like fun. He takes out a dagger and starts dancing it across his fingers. He takes out a second, a third, and starts juggling them, having their blades catch the sun as he whirls them in the air. You know how easy it would be to "accidentally" lose concentration and control? he asks the goblin?

The farmer stays with the oxen, avoiding the group which is interrogating the goblin. Raven isn't intimidating in any way, so he feels he would not be helpful.

Tatiana is simply asking the question, regality on full display. She stares her own daggers into the goblin's eyes.

Decklan slaps the goblin for a third time.

Standing near the oxen, Raven watches the group, but more specifically he watches Surge shift forms again. He hadn't met a shifter before, but there was something that felt familiar about it. Another feeling that he couldn't place, like being hunted earlier. Today was certainly nothing like he had ever encountered on the farm. Of course, getting shot with arrows was an experience he would have been happy to live without.

Surrounded by many very intimidating enemies, the goblin hisses and tries to inch backwards untill Alex flicks a dagger into the dead horse behind him.

With a growl he spits out, "Klarg got told, 'lookout for dwarf on road, fetch him and any others', Black Spider told King Grol he get dwarf and Cragmaws get rewards." His common isn't great and he visibly struggles with some of the words.

"Where do we find King Grol and the Black Spider?" asks Tatiana.

Alex sheathes the other two daggers and saunters up to the horse to retrieve the third. Turning back to the goblin, he slowly and deliberately wipes the bloody dagger on the front of the goblin’s jerkin, as he leans in, leers evilly at the goblin, and in a low, menacing voice says You are very bloody lucky I decided to miss your hideous green ears. Next time, I might decide you look better with your ears shaved an inch or three closer to your head. ANSWER THE LADY!

This is a very different Alex from the effervescent and dashing want-to-be poet and raconteur from the inn.

The goblin visibly trembles then says, "King Grol at castle, don't know Black Spider. Dwarf and gray human taken to eating cave. Can take you there."

Werewolf Surge grows out, "You will be the first meal should you be untrue."

Tatiana orders the goblin, "Show us the way, Klarg." Since Alex seems to have established a good rapport with the goblin, Tatiana leaves Klarg in Alex's care.

She turns to Raven. "Secure the cart and the oxen, then join us. We may need everyone to clear out the goblin nest and save Master Gundren and Master Sildar."

Decklan slaps the goblin yet again before turning around to face the sister. "I'll stay with th' kid so he ain't catchin up by himself."

Having cleaned all the daggers he used, Alex yanks the goblin to his feet, brandishing one dagger in front of him. You heard the princess; take us to the eating cave. One peep, and I will slice off pieces of your flesh and feed them to you. Do I need to demonstrate first?

Surge transforms back and helps with preparations.

Raven just nods to Tatiana and proceeds to move the cart off the road to a place where it can be somewhat hidden. He will encourage the oxen to move past the dead horses, talking with them constantly to keep them steady, then to where they want to stash the cart. Once there he will unhitch the oxen so they are free of the cart and get them settled. Raven will tell them to stay near the cart and hidden and that he should be back soon to fetch them.
