OOC: XP from Chapter 7

At the end of Chapter 7, every PC receives the following XP, based on our advancement rules:

1 - Did we earn a profit, either through trading, scavenging, looting or jobs?
Yes. We sold the drive for 300k

2 - Did we discover something new and interesting about the universe?
Yes.

3 - Did we overcome a difficult challenge or dangerous adversary?
Yes. We escaped from the pirates.

That will leave Hank, Corbin, Mercer and Douklan with a total of 13 XP. Enough for a level up.

You are all level 4 now. Please post here how you are going to spend those skill points. You can update your charsheet as well.

I didn't do my level 3 ups ... I had my whole sheet on lv2

@Esidrix please also update Corbin's goals. What are the objectives your character aims to achieve in the short, mid and long term? This is continously used to guide our campaign.

Level 4 is simple for Hank: He ls spending all three of his non-psi skill points on Program-2, and his dedicated psi skill point on Sense the Need. His new hit points are 22. He rolled his current total exactly, so he is bumped to 22. (Hopefully he will live long enough to ace the roll once to get a nice bump.)

Sheet is updated.

Things get more interesting for Hank over the next three levels.

Corbin had 1 sp left from 3rd. So he'll spend his first 3 points on moving Charisma from 6->7-> 8. The bonus point will spend on gaining Know-0 and the left over point on Lead-0.

I'll get something on the sheet for Goals.

Plus 4 for Con Bonus And Plus 8 for Die Hard (2/lvl) = 43.

I don't remember when that was established, but it looks like we're still getting the flat +10 bonus to our HP rolls, correct?

Douklan advances to level 4.

1) Rolling HP vs current total (24). Douklan's new max HP is 26.
2) Douklan's base attack bonus is +4.
3) Douklan's saving throws decrease to Physical 12, Evasion and Mental 10.
4) Douklan has three skill points. Given how things have been going, it makes the most sense to spend all three to increase Pilot to 2.

As an aside, Hank has been working, and continues to work, with Erin to make sure he can use an assault suit the next time such a thing would be useful. I don't know when his "month" will be considered complete, but he is working on it. In fact, he will continue to periodically work on it after that to make sure he has it down for their next combat.
