Gauging Interest - StarWarsWEG Imperial Campaign

Posting this to gauge interest on starting a Star Wars WEG d6 campaign.

The working title is On Her Imperial Majesty Secret Service, which is obviously an Empire side based story.

Not sure about which setting though. Im balancing between Rebellion OR Legacy Era (Dark Horse Comics).

Looking for about 3-4 players, preferably experienced with the WEG system.

Fans of the Star Wars Expanded Universe are welcomed with open arms.

Slow paced game, 5 posts per week, with no posting on weekend.

Restriction on character creation depending on the era we play.

I'm always interested in Star Wars, but am not familiar with WEG

I am a fan of WEG Star Wars. Currently playing in a campaign IRL, wouldn't mind branching out a bit to a second game.

I would love to play the Emperess's Hand or some other ISB agent.

The Empress is Rey Palpatine?

I have been wanting to try WEG for a long time. Would you mind a newbie?

I don't mind newbies, since this system is really easy to learn. All i'm asking is some knowledge of Star Wars especially the Expanded Universe.

As a side note... even if I don't get chosen to play, I'll put this out there -- the easiest way to handle the wild die on GP will be to roll a single D6 with "reroll aces" marked, then roll the rest of your dice pool in a seperate roll (not seperate post, mind).

Players and GM will have to do a little math, but anything else will be far more complex.

As for rolling a 1 on the wild die... I humbly submit "highest and lowest" (subtracting the highest rolled die along with removing the 1 on the wild die) is probably the easiest in a PbP environment.

Good luck with this - really interesting premise. I'd love to play a pro-empire character but fear I have insufficent knowledge of the Expanded Universe and no experience with WEG. I hope you keep the game open so I, and others, can follow along.

As for character ideas... I have a few, but they (partly) depend on what era we're playing in.
