Yellowjacket, you've got your hands on a Nephro MkII Special. A few hours ago the thing was blue and docile but now it is red and angry and steaming--it probably only has a few more frantic shots in it before it's better as seafood than firearm. But hell if it don't pack a punch.

I think I'd like Centipede Guy to take the "You were pronounced dead two days ago, massive debt, hasty escape." He could literally have been pronounced dead, what with him having taken off as just a centipede. Speaking of which, I do actually like the ick flavor of the Body King, especially if its got Guy's face like something out of Junji Ito . Nothing like a parasite to bring the team together!

I would like to just check again just to make sure its all good with y'all since he'd basically be taking up residence in the team's bodies for the most part (though GM, I think it might also be cool if he could pilot a dead corpse around out of combat - you could limit it by saying it can't really do much aside from look more human than a human-faced centipede and walk around).

Yup, that's the right link--some modifications will be made for most classes to fit the BUCKETS OF BLOOD hack, so not everything will be word for word the same.

Assassination attempt has gone horribly bad. Maybe he can mitigate the disaster by stealing the mark's stuff. But why the fuck is the walkie-talkie chirping when it has no batteries? Gritting his teeth, the chirping making him crazy, he jumps into the car and cracks open the briefcase and .... peeks inside at 140 miles per hour ... the thing threatening to bounce off his lap and out of the car at any moment ...

I was riffing off the catgirl, but V'sexx is not a catgirl. (more like a psycho succubus) with sharp teeth, claws, and a tail. i've been looking over what classes I can find, but nothing seems right so far. What would you suggest?

What ultimately do you want V'sexxx to be able to do? Is she magical, physical, ranged, support etc? Does she prefer guile or violence? Etc. Does she take BLACK because she's a Sorcerer or because she's an addict chasing an ever more power high? I've also got some Race as Class type backgrounds that might work if you want to go deep into the Succubus/Demon aesthetic.

She's physical, prefers her ultraviolence, takes BLACK because it makes her feel alive. I would be interested in the succubus/demon aesthetic.

Two possible options come to mind immediately. Hellspawn is a Race as Class single Template class—essentially just has Template A and you can move into another class as you survive/develop or we can build up on your infernal heritage ourselves. It comes with a few Infernal Tells (claws and tail for example) plus a Lineage.

Alternatively we have the Speed Demon which gives you a deeper connection to The Car and VEHICULAR VIOLENCE and the tempting of wicked souls to fuel your power.

Those both sound really great. Could we start with the Template A Hellspawn and then expand to the Speed Demon. And what choices of lineage does she have?

Sounds like a plan, I'll throw some stats up in your thread. The Lineages are: Commander, Duke, Hell Itself, Lawyer, Lost Soul, Reaper, Seer, Temptation, and Torturer. The original background doesn't line up exactly with BUCKETS OF BLOOD, so I'll modify the way these work to fit. Each one has its own ability that fits the nature of the lineage.

As far as the Body King goes, no to possession—Yellowjacket is his own man.
As far as the template, I would need to see what the abilities are before I make a choice. I am a bit curious to see what a custom template for Yellowjacket would look like.

Okay so basics. If you want to DO VIOLENCE do a 1d20+ Relevant stat bonus opposed by the other's DO VIOLENCE roll. Whomever rolls higher DOES VIOLENCE to the other. Rolling Defense you add your entire stat as opposed to the bonus. If you are wearing armor of some sort there is a x-in-6 chance of that armor absorbing the damage instead of your squishy body-meat.

For some simple rolls I may ask for roll a d6 under your stat. So pretty much so far we're doing good.

Hey everyone sorry I've been absent, between a death in the family, holidays, and a massive work project I've been just completely overwhelmed. I'm really sorry this happened and I ghosted-- I'm really really hoping to be able to find more time to get back to things soon. I'm likely going to be the only person working from my team in the last few weeks of December which either means I'm going to be ultra busy or its going to be silent and I can find the time to put myself back together. Again, I am so sorry this happened.

We could pick it up again in January if that works for you and everyone else.
