I also expect I'll be finished tomorrow, barring needing to scrap the idea and come up with a Plan B. Either is fine. I don't mind waiting, but starts are usually a bit slow so that would probably give them a window to jump in before anything really kicks off.

Hi, I didn't get, or at least couldn't find the invite (still pretty new to site). I think I'm good now, a draft of the character sheet is up both here and in D&D Beyond (excepting non-magical starting equipment if any).
Have we got anyone playing strong, parental types that would take on a preadolescent girl warlock charge? If so, I would mirror my background to reflect yours as to how we got here.
I would also be willing to turn over surplus funds, everything beyond armor, a dagger, spell components, and my doll Thule (magic item) though I would suggest you leave me funds for sweets and baubles or there may be some mage hand shenanigans as we pass certain vendors (and I'm not that good at them!). Or, if you'd rather, I just take care of all that normally and we assume you manage it without your having to actually do so.

And then got a job with a shady artificer. She learned the trade with him.
Now she, with her custom made stealth suit, does what she needs to do to comeby.
As for her relationship with Charm - I don't know the details of your backstory but they could be;
Actual sisters. They might have been orphaned together and Jyn always took care of Charm.
Or more like sisters in spirit. They are not relatives but met at a later age and Jyn took up the sister role having been alone a long time.
I am not sure what @timplausible has in mind. Could even be two characters trying to raise up and protect Charm a bit, in a good and, for Jyn a more relaxed/not so good manner. (Jyn's not evil to be clear. But she doesn't care much about rules or protocol or ettiquette).
