Meepo collects the bat guano in one of his empty viles as it is an excellent source of nitrogen and phosphorus before anyone accidentally cleans it up and takes note of the odd plant outside before he continues to read while he waits for the carts to be ready for the first adventure with this new group.

The artificer heard the word, but it took a long few moments to register what Laulalith had said. Coming over to where she was examining the huge staff, he looked at the staff and the glow from the crystals. He eyes filled with excitement and wonder. "Wonder what it does, not that any of us could ever use it."

After everyone has gone over the maps, 37 will gather them up and store them securely. He looks over at the staff as the others scrutinize it. "Its size makes it prohibitive to utilize conventionally, but knowing what it does would still be advantageous. I had intended to identify it, but we have been quite busy since the battle. I am but one Warforged."

With that, 37 will head into town to pick up a few things before they set off.

37 speaks with the young shop owner. "Wow! Mr. Lightning himself!", Harry says excitedly. "Planning a trip? I didn’t think the warforged eat.", he wastes no time collecting 37’s requested items.

The barrel was easy, the water does take a a while, but a short time later, the warforged has everything he needs.

Laulalith is lost in thought as she tries to establish a connection with the crystal within. "It must be a mighty weapon indeed, but sadly not one any of us can wield. Perhaps you artificiers could take the staff apart and repurpose its crystals?"

"I wonder what the salvage rules say about a situation like this." She winks mischievously. "I mean, none of us removed this from the Mournland, so by rights there are no fees to be paid for keeping this."

Shopping: Maybe we need some healing potions?

Someone should grab the ring (it's an Air Elemental control ring, right?)

As best as everyone can tell, the warehouse seems to be about half day journey on foot. 37 and Vice know it is much faster by elemental cart. Likely four, possibly five hours.

Famul takes the wagon over to Adrianus’ smith and returns saying the hitch will likely need an hour or so, but should ready when the cart arrives. Garundah asks for ten gold pieces for the job and materials.

"We do not. However... my companions do. I do not want them to run short on supplies," 37 replies, before thanking the shopkeeper and handing over the payment. He'll store the supplies in his bag of holding, and returns to the group. He will also pay Garundah for the hitch.

Tryne looked over the staff at Laulalith's question about repurposing the crystals, "I've scrapped just about everything imaginable, well maybe not compared to what is within the Gray, but I've torn apart plenty of things. Its possible in theory, but some things come apart cleanly, some break, and some explode." the orange haired scrapper shrugged. "Something to consider. I can help 37 identify it. In the end, it may be worth more selling in one piece than trying to separate it into parts. Unless we come up with some urgent need for the individual crystals."

Laulalith makes her way to the provisioner. He’s a little scatterbrained and the shop matches that persona. Gear, clothing, rations and tools are everywhere, seemingly tossed and forgotten. Yet, somehow, Harry knows where everything is.

He offers healing potions for fifty gold pieces each.

Laulalith thanks the shop keeper and stores two healing potions in her pack.

Then she returns to the temple and sits quietly contemplating the mysteries of the fire elemental ring while her companions get the cart ready.

Laulalith places the ring on and the rest watch her eyes flash a golden red. The elf feels intense heat radiate through her entire body and the sound of a roaring fire fills her mind. Crackling, popping, hissing. The group sees her dragonmark flare a bright red, as her magic cannot hide it in this moment. A searing pain fills her hand as the ring glows molten hot.

Laulalith's eyes widen in surprise as fire burns her finger and and rages through her mind. For a moment, she thinks she can contain the inferno within, but the power is too great and she has to let it out. The fiery energy carves through her disguises - both magical and mundane - to reveal the mark of shadow curling up the left side of her neck towards her ear.

Laulalith grits her teeth and tries to withstand the onslaught as she struggles to understand the power that courses through her.

Well, that was unexpected. But I did buy a lot of healing potions, so we can let this run its course for a while. Lali will endure the pain for now and see if she can figure out how to handle this.

Laulaltih gasps with shallow breath as she struggels to speak while the fire consumes her. "Water ... bring me water." Then her eyes flare up with reddish golden light as she screams: "NOW!"
