He then would like to take the first hour as a short rest and the rest of the time continuing to look out the window for more ingredients and see if there is anyone following us (although he never saw anything from before the mist besides those screaming faces)

Meepo first considers casting tongues so he can understand the whispers surrounding him. But after those screaming faces decides it's possibly best not to be able to understand what they are saying.

Vice yells to those up top. "Try to make sure we arent being followed, as that was part of the job description and all." looking back, he says to those inside, "Does anyone have a way to obscure the wagons tracks? One of my little illusions won't help. I could try using Mage Hand to hide the tracks, although that may make a bigger mess."

Torhak simply nodded to Tryne, but when Meepo's message came through to him it startled him. "All good here" he replied.
As the cart continued down the track Torhak kept a watch on the wall behind him, and their flanks. He wondered of the riders on the ridge would attempt to follow them through the wall.

"I don't like that we were followed out of town. One of us should double back discretely and see if they are still on our tracks." She twirls her wand between her fingers. "I can make sure that our scout is not seen."

As they drive on, Laulalith continuously looks back to check whether the black riders follow them through the Grey.

Meepo looks to Laulaith "we were followed?! Oh no that's not good. We supposed to not be followed"
Meepo shakes his head to Vice "Meepo has some things he can do but like you said it may make a bigger mess"

Torhak, having been the first to spot their stalkers, does not see anyone. In fact, as the turnpike appears well travelled, the area is free of anything of note. At one point, they pass the remnants of a lightning rail. Only the heaviest pieces of scrap iron remain. Picked clean by scavengers and scrappers. Those that were affected by the mists’ magic, can’t help but think of the oncoming train they witnessed.
After a couple hours of travel, the minotaur is confident they are not directly being followed. However, as pointed out, their cart tracks could be followed by even a novice tracker.

Satisfied that they are not being followed, Laulalith leans back and closes her eyes. The ordeal of the Grey had taken a toll on her, and she needs to be ready for whatever lies ahead.
The suggestion to send an invisible scout to double back still stands.
OOC:
If Lali had any skill in survival, she would suggest to take an indirect route and seek hard ground to leave less obvious tracks :)The suggestion to send an invisible scout to double back still stands.

Tryne nodded, "Unfortunately the lightning also makes the coach easy to spot, even if you are not specifically looking for it."
That gave him a thought, yelling back to the coach - "Laulalith, could one of your illusions shroud the coach - maybe at least cover the lightning flashes so we do not stick out so much? I also saw someone move earth I thought, how about just sifting the dirt of our tracks as we pass like a broom or something. Anyone got wind magic to just blow our tracks out? I don't know, just throwing out ideas."

Meepo starts humming a tune thinking a nice tune of rest would be nice while everyone rests up in the cart.
OOC:
dm question would sifting the dirt count as an instantaneous affect? And would that leave a 5 foot wide tract instead of the two tire tracts or would I be able to move the earth just a little to make the dirt look more blended?OOC:

As I be read the description, you could totally cover the tracks by casting it repeatedly, but it would reduce our speed to 5' per round. Or half that if the wheels are more than 5' apart. That's quite slow. Maybe we can do it for a short stretch, though.Lali can repeatedly put up illusions to shield the flash from the lighting, but that's probably pointless unless we cover the tracks.

So, RAW says "If you cast this spell multiple times, you can have no more than two of its non-instantaneous effects active at a time, and you can dismiss such an effect as an action." and the effects only last one hour.I find that having tracks reappear in an hour is silly. If you wish to combine Torhak’s idea with Meepo’s, we’ll say the tracks will be sufficiently obscured, but it’ll cost the cart half speed for however long you decide.
Currently, Tryne is still unattuned, he can maintain seven and a half miles per hour. Half that I’ll rule as four mph.
