Kalli Alran

Kalli sits off to the side, chatting with Belaluur about potential dealings once the Grey Dogs return. She returns Tryne’s gaze as she mentions their late return to the little goblin. "Yes, they should have returned yesterday. If they’re not back tomorrow, I’ll head out through the Thornwood. We have a specific route we follow from Lake Arul through the wood. Obviously, it’s safer than the final leg through the Grey."

Orakh and his men ask to remain with their cargo and set up a watch over night. As promised, a container is ready for them with the following morning’s train. Under their escort, the items are securely stored. Lord Orakh Tornn thanks the Guardians for their discovery.

"You have my gratitude for recovering this armour. To complete it, will be an honour. I look forward to working with you and Kalli soon."

With that, Lord Tornn departs Salvation aboard the lightning rail.

Meanwhile, Kalli begins to make preparations to search for the rest of her still unaccounted for salvage team.

Does everyone still in the hall? Or does anyone go to Salvation Hotel?

Do you wish to accompany Kalli on her trek?

37 will stay at the hall and work to repair and improve it, along with Famul -- when no one is sleeping, of course. It would be rude to bang away all night.

"Kalli... your team. What are your plans?"

Laulalith uses her medallion's magic to don the disguise of carpenter, and prepares to leave the hall. "I'll check on Ikar's crew to see if they have come back. I'll be right back."

I don't mean to spend a long time on this. Just a quick check to see whether their horses have come back.

Tryne had spent some more time with the new rifle he had purchased, specifically examining the ammunition as he would likely need to reproduce that soon if he wanted to be able to continue to use the weapon.

Seeing Laulalith leaving, "Be safe."

Looking around at the others, "I know I just got here, but I think we help Kalli go look. If Ikar is making a move, I'd rather know now when something can be done about it.."

Meepo nods. "Yeah Meepo is too new here to tell who is good guys and who are bad guys. That's why I was surprised we mentioned the professor and that there is another workshop. That would be good info to keep close. But Meepo is ok with whatever the group wants to do."

Kalli outlines her plan to search for the Grey Dogs to 37. "We have a route planned through the Thornwood. I plan to cross the Brey River at Arythawn Keep. It’s a day’s ride through the woods to Lake Arul…", she pauses in thought, looking down woefully, If I can’t find them by then, there’s not much hope they’ve made it through the Grey, but I’ve got to try.", she sits in thought before continuing

"It’s too dangerous alone and I would need a lot of supplies. I’m planning for three days in the Grey. That’s a day and a half before I’ll turn back. Eston is three days of Mournland travel and by horse is tough. I won’t go that far."

Kalli stares absentmindedly at the north wall of the hall, the warforged imagines she’s visualizing her route.

Meanwhile, Laulalith disguised as a carpenter makes her way down the street. She doesn’t attract any unusual attention. As she passes the Ikar House, She notices a different horse hitched to the rail.

She collects her things. "I’ll need a hour. For those that wish to accompany us, I’d suggest some supplies, especially food and water. The Mournland near Lake Arul is… unforgiving."
