"This is starting remind me of my vision" he glances nervously over at Talon pulling against her rope. "There were creatures in the swamp and they lured her away. Hold girl."

Tryne was too distracted with worry about Talon to notice anything in the swamp.

Perception check looking out the window and back to his broom trying to muster up the courage to take flight in case the broom starts to act up like in the vision.

Laulatith notices a few sets of eyes in the swamp, with more emerging as they continue down the trail. 37 sees in the distance the faint outline of an island in the glow of Zarantyr's light. The eyes around them continue to converge on the group, yet, 37 notices that the creatures do not appear to want to leave the water. One of the creatures comes right up to the shore, the quickly retreats, vanishing with barely a splash beneath the black surface.

"Dangers lurk in the water... but they seem to stay in the water. Although I think I see an island ahead. Be wary, entering the water seems as though it would open us up to the multitude of... things... lurking just beneath the surface," 37 warns, staring out of the carriage window as they travel along.

Tryne passes a large tree as they come to a stop a seemingly safe distance from the edge. Kalli stops just a ahead. In the dark, she is unable to see far into the swamp. "Do you see anything?", she asks quietly.

In the inky water, the sound of water churning is clearly heard. Meepo sees flashes of his mist vision, unseen creatures swarming something beneath the surface flood his mind as his broom falters.

Meanwhile, all eyes in the water have disappeared.
OOC:
Waiting on Torhak, but let’s give you an idea of what you see.

Torhak could feel the tension rising in the swamp, his breathing rate increased and he gripped his hammer that laid across his lap tightly. His eyes darted all around them as he tried to ascertain what...was hunting them.
OOC:
Sorry, perception below :)

The dim light prevents Torhak from seeing much in the distance, but he can just make out an island about twenty five feet across the swamp.

As Meepo takes out his trusty broom, he feels it shake in his hand.
OOC:
Roll me Dex check to try to ride the broom. DC is 10.

Laulalith looks apprehensively at the dark churning water. "I can get myself and one or two more across without getting our feet wet."

As Meepo gives the broom his command, he can feel the magic in his broom flickering. It shakes violently, but the kobold is able to hold on.
OOC:
You can do an arcana check if you wish.

The broom's stats are currently halved:
Taking off requires a DC 10 Dex check
Flying speed of 25 feet
It can carry up to 200 pounds
Its flying speed becomes 15 feet while carrying over 100 pounds
The furthest you can command it is half a mile.
Apr 15, 2025 6:34 pm
Meepo holds his broom steadily looking it over trying to analyze what is going on with his broom as he has never had this issue before.

Meepo seems genuinely confused by the broom's behaviour and is uncertain what could be causing it.

Thinking back to the shrieking dragon did it look like the dragon was shrieking due to warning meepo, scared or what waits below, aggressive towards Meepo, etc

OOC:
I'll use your earlier insight on the man from the vision, 14 is a decent roll.
Meepo reflects once more on the vision. Echoes of it fill his mind. Trying to reconcile the reality of the dark and quiet swamp with the fear inducing vision. As the looping vision fades once more, he sees the dragon begins to aim toward the inky water, or perhaps toward the far shore. While he is uncertain of what has attracted the dragon, Meepo can tell that he is not the target.

Meanwhile, Vice is constantly bombarded by the battle from the perspective of the shore. Tarin avoids the water as his cohorts scream in terror. The wagon is thrown from the water as the two horses are pulled beneath the surface. Virtue struggles to her feet on the island ahead. Tarin releases the knives from his grip and they sail with lethal accuracy across the water and toward the goblin woman. Her yellow tunic soiled by the black water, torn by an unseen foe, she struggles for the cover of the overturned wagon. Then the vision fades once more.

Once they stop, Tryne will risk leaving the controls to go to Talon in order to see what is effecting his construct. Usually she did not move unless he ordered her or just her ambient personality. The fact she was trying to pull away when he had ordered her to hold was confusing.

OOC:
Roll me an arcana check.
