Tryne is left to guess what may have caused his beloved construct to behave that way. He is certain that only he can give commands, but the Mournland is well known for unusual effects.

Torhak could sense the fear and tension growing in the group, they were destabilized. They needed to make decisive action, and stop being fearful of these visions. "Do we believe absolutely that what we seek is on that island?"

"We cannot know absolutely until we see," 37 replies. "However, it seems to fit the visions... assuming they were accurate. Meepo... would you be willing to fly over the island and back? Just to see what's there? Knowing one way or the other would help determine our next step."

Laulalith senses Torhak's impatience and winks at him. "We won't know before we get over there." Then she pulls out a coil of rope from her pack and throws it to the minotaur. "Catch! Tie it to a tall branch, and throw the other end to me when I have crossed."
Then she sprints towards the edge of the swamp, and jumps out over the murky churning water. In mid-air, she vanishes in a cloud of mist only to reapppear and land gracefully on the other side.
Then she looks around to see what secrets the island holds.
Once we get a rope suspended between the two sides, Lali can use Levitate to get the rest of you across. Unless something eats her first.
Edit: Landing at M13 assuming this goes well. Magic seems to be a bit wonky here
Edit 2: I should really start reading spell descriptions instead of assuming I know what they do. Lali kan use Levitate to get _one_ of you across (they can pull themselves along the rope)

Meepo gives a slight nod to 37s suggestion (possibly too slight for others to have noticed) but before he could muster up the umpf to say it Laulalith has come up with a plan and executed it. Meepo takes flight out of the carriage and looks to see if she is ok in fear of his hesitation could have gotten her harmed.Lol oops

Meanwhile, Meepo attempts to take off to follow and sees the splashing of the black water beneath. His broom shutters violently and he is nearly thrown off. The kobold hears the screech of the dragon and looks up in time to see a golden dragon take flight from the island. His vision appears to be coming true!
A manlike creature bursts forth from the water and attempts to grapple Laulalith.

That was my peak behind the dm curtain. They were the 6 places you could have landed based on the D6 you rolled. Here’s the map so far based on the splashes Meepo and Laulalith have seen.

Lali should be able to get herself out of the grapple with one more use of Misty Step, so you shouldn't have to save her from drowning ... yet
