In the inn, 37 sees the man second guess his actions as Laulalith's words reach him.
Harry Brindle arrives to Vice and Meepo with three clay jugs. He drops two on the ground and opens the third, aiming at the house. "Aim them at the flames!", Harry's jug begins spewing a gush of water at Kalli's house. Meepo's earth has extinguished most of the flames and the shopkeep's container begins to put out the rest. The lights are out inside and no one is seen. Vice and Meepo do notice another pair of Ikar's men step out from behind Kalli's house. As well as a tall, pale man in a hat upon a black horse. Tarin dashes toward Meepo from the other side of the street. Unable to see the invisible gnome, the rider flings two blades at the kobold. One is magically deflected away, while the other slices Meepo's arm.
On the other end of town, Sheriff waves a hand in frustration at his unseen attacker and dashes down the street.
37 is up, with Tryne on deck.
