Tryne leaves the front seat, scrambling across the coach roof with his sword to attack the creature trying to impede the coach wheels.

Meepo is easily able to remove the net bound to the wheel in front of him. The hyena is the first to reach the other bound wheel at the front of the cart. He latches on with his strong jaws and pulls the net free.

Tryne balances at he moves like a swashbuckler to the rear of the cart. With two quick swipes, the creature falls to the ground and stops moving.

37 will rise from his seat and turn momentarily, attempting to force one of the swamp creatures to leave Talon alone. However, his focus remains on piloting the carriage and these foul victims behind.

37’s lightning streaks across the swamp, hitting his target. As the second bolt is fired, the creature barely deflects the electricity with its shield.

As the group continues their flight, three of the fishy creatures thrust their spears at those aboard the cart and wagon. The cart is moving a too fast for them and all three miss their targets.

Vice is up, with Dubdub and Kalli on deck.

Vice is out of any useful magic, but the creatures don't know that. He tries to think of something that they would be afraid of, and figures everybody's afraid of fire. So he creates the image of a small fireball behind the cart as if it's about to hit any creatures following them.

hoping that will cause the creatures to pause a bit, gaining us some distance.

Torhak pints at one of the fish creatures with the arm that holds his dragonmark and fires off a necrotic bolt at it!

Vice casts his spell and the flames pop up out between the cart and the closest creature. Torhak’s bolt finishes 37’s previous target. Kalli steers clear of any of the beasts and pulls ahead of the cart, releasing two arrows. Both sink deep into the creature’s chest and he collapses to the ground.

Dubdub raises his arms with his palms to the black sky above. Twisted, black vines begin to wrap around the four creatures left behind and a patch of growth spreads away from them, toward the cart. Three of the creatures are able to slash away at the brambles. One is wrapped on in them.

Laulalith is up, with the creatures on deck.

Laulalith aims her wand at one of the creatures struggling in the brambles and fires two more black bolts.

Laulalith's eldritch energy tears through the creature, who dies instantly. Quickly adjusting, she fires her second blast at the last aggressive creature. The creature is badly hurt, but begins to fight the weeds and grapples the axe beak. The injured creature begins to drag the bird into the swamps waters as the around them, the waters seem to come alive again.

Meepo's one free creature tries desperately to come to the bird's aid.

I figured Laulalith wouldn’t waste a second shot on a dead creature.

Meepo cast ray of frost at the creature trying to pull the axebeak back into the water. And yells out to it. "Come on! You can break free!"

The frost from Meepo’s spell finishes what Laulalith started and the axe beak is free once more. Immediately, the large bird and hyena race to rejoin the safety of the cart.

Once more, the cart is surrounded by the glowing red eyes emerging from the waters.

37, when your turn comes up, let me know if you go left, or right. Or use an action for a survival check to help decide.

"Another wave of them..."

He kept Talon close to him as he pulled up the elemental rifle and took aim at the creatures coming in from the right side of the coach.
