Hi
Only just noticed this thread really.
Since Tavern Keeper's Bill gave notice of the end of that site, I've been wildly dragging stuff (almost exclusively TOR 1e) onto Gamers Plane to continue the three games we had running over there. But I helped start one TOR2E game and have dragged that across as well.
However, I would appreciate spectating on your game as I still don't feel super confident with TOR 2E.
Is that OK?
Happy to invite you in as a spectator but I'm not claiming any special expertise! The Starter Set Adventures (even modified slightly to use the Core Rules as we've been doing) don't give a full reflection of the what the full game is like.

Let me know when you get past the Hobbits-only starter box, Mephi! ;)

Same here.
I might have time to have a punt at a full game once we've finished with the Expert Treasure Hunters Start Set Adventure - that should take us past the summer and hopefully I'll have a bit more space and will know the rules a bit better. They're really annoyingly set out in the Core Rulebook! I'll post in this thread when I'm able to start.

What do the pre-gens look like?
All Hobbits and related to the characters from The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. So we have Primula Brandybuck and Paladin Took II played by C1NDER and ForeverDED, Drogo Baggins by Frandal (maybe), Rory Brandybuck, Lobelia Bracegirdle, and Esmerelda Took going free along with Bilbo Baggins himself. They're all Hobbits of the Shire but the way they've been written they differ a little from the Core Set by not getting their Cultural Blessing of Hobbit-Sense, not getting a Calling and therefore no Distinctive Feature, only getting one Useful Item, and not getting a Starting Reward. They also don't have any weapons. Bilbo is an exception to all of this. If someone wanted they could generate a player-hero from the Core Rules but they'd need to be a Hobbit for these adventures.
